It is big enough to braise an entire 5-6 lb. brisket. It is also great for making stews, meat sauces and anything else in large quantities. It has been a godsend especially at Christmas when preparing multiple menu items. It can be cleaned quickly with a wet sponge. Nothing sticks to it.
