Paris: A Memoir for Young Women in the Age of Influencers Review: Well worth reading on many levels - I wasn’t expecting to be as impressed and moved by this book as I was. The writing is intelligent, captivating and inspiring. The experiences she shares are gut-wrenching. I didn’t know much about Paris before reading this book so I had no opinions about the beautiful heiress. I truly respect and admire her resilience and her determination to be her true self, regardless of what people throw at her. Being a public figure is hard but I see her handling difficult situations now, and all the injustices, with grace and forgiveness. This inspires me to do the same. MALACHI 3:11-12 "I will restore what was taken from you-tenfold. I will shield you from harm and pour blessings beyond your wildest dreams.” I highly recommend this book, especially for those who may be dealing with ADHD. Review: Great and Unexpected Read - Because, no-one could possibly understand the responsibility associated to be placed on the X. Thank you for elaborating about what to look for in an independent search for the why. And the insight of such a person no matter how many pianos are hanging above the X.

An engaging and candid glimpse into the life of one of the most iconic personalities of our time
Paris: The Memoir by Paris Hilton is an engaging and candid glimpse into the life of one of the most iconic personalities of our time. With honesty and vulnerability, Paris shares her journey from childhood (including a harrowing period subjected to youth reform programs and abuse) to stardom. Paris reveals both the glamorous and challenging moments along the way, including the lingering wounds from being forced to stay in abusive residential youth treatment programs. Her storytelling is both relatable and inspiring, offering readers an authentic perspective on fame, perseverance, and self-discovery. The memoir is remarkably well-written, blending humor, heart, and insight, making it a compelling read that humanizes a celebrity often seen through the lens of the media. A must-read for fans and anyone interested in understanding the multifaceted life behind the glitz and glamour. She is remarkable and must be commended for facing her demons and working to stop child abuse at residential treatment programs.

Thank you Paris!!
Such a Great book! I learned so much about Paris Hilton reading her book, things many people don’t know or would expect to hear that she went through! It was very well written and kept me interested the whole time, it was hard to put down! I have a lot in common with Paris about my teenage years and it was nice being able to relate to her struggle and know that she turned out okay after everything she went through! Gave me hope even after all these years later at my age! It’s a very good book and I definitely recommend! I’m not the best reader and I read the entire book in less than 3 days that’s very good for me! You’re really right there with her the whole entire book living her experiences right along with her! Believe me it’s worth it! I have so much appreciation for Paris Hilton now knowing what I now know about her and I’m glad she shared her story! Thank you Paris!

Women are everything
This one wasn’t on my list until multiple people recommended it. So I figured I’d check it out. And it was so much more interesting than I thought it would be. Paris is more than the vapid party girl that we all love to hate and hate to love. She has a history. And some of it is really traumatic. This book is about taking control of the narrative and she certainly does that. Paris has ADHD but wasn’t diagnosed until her mid-20s. This caused a lot of issues in her teenage years. Her parents, in an effort to save her life, sent her off to a “school” that was nothing more than an emotionally and physically abusive forced labor camp. She was there from age 16-18. And it definitely shaped who she became. Paris says her story is not an excuse. It’s an explanation. And I think that’s fair. She is a fierce feminist and as she’s gotten older has become an activist for women and troubled teens. She has learned to embrace her ADHD and appreciate the creativity that comes from having it. Instead of fighting the inability to sit still, she embraces it with a fierce work ethic. She does still party. Somehow she still has the capacity to get 10 hours of sleep in a 72 hour weekend, which… I can’t even imagine. But I really did like this book. It is all about loving yourself and how embracing the truth can set you free. About how if you don’t love yourself you can never fully receive love from others. And it’s about standing with your girls and standing up for other women. It’s about the guilt women feel as victims and how to reclaim your strength. I recommend it.

Coincidental success. Funny but vapid and disconnected.
Vapid. Funny. Blander than expected

Not what I expected
When I was growing up Paris Hilton was all over magazines and tv. She was literally everywhere. As with most of the other party girls of that era, she was not treated nicely by the media. I didn’t like reality tv so I never watched her tv shows. I only saw what was in magazines which were mostly lies. I can honestly say I was not a Paris Hilton fan. I saw this book and decided, why not? Honestly, I owe Paris a huge apology! This woman has worked so hard to be who she is. Her story broke my heart in places. Her teenage years were rough! To see that she is finally in a place with her family where she is happy with her husband and babies is the best happy ending we could have asked for.

A look behind the scenes of one of the most iconic people of my time. Growing up watching Paris Hilton on the news I was always mesmerised by her persona. I appreciate she decided to open up about a terrible life experience and I'm proud to be a fan of someone who's fighting so what happened to her won't happen to anyone else. Setting an example of what it means to fight for yourself, being your true self, by staying true to who you are.

I have to say, I was dubious about this book. I read the Britney memoir last year, and it was an icky read. I felt like I was reading an adult book that a child had written. A few years ago, when Paris came out about her abuse, I saw a different side of her, and that's the reason I picked up this book. I both read and listened to it, and let me tell you, Paris Hilton is funny AF. How she lives a life with her parents in it the way she does is beyond me based on the things she's been through. Ignorance isn't a defence IMO and there's only a certain amount of times you can ignore your child who's telling you sues being abused before you are choosing to ignore them. The way that she has taken the trauma and turned it into something positive is phenomenal. I went from laughter to sadness in a matter of words. She keeps it real, and she's human and not just 'the celebrity' you read about in the gossip tabloids. It's definitely worth the read.
