I bought this light for general work use in and around the home. It has three light output settings, high, low and emergency flash. It's rechargeable from any USB C power source and not too heavy. I can't see it being tough enough for hard industrial or hard physical use. It is clearly designed for use with a safety helmet and pushes out a massive amount of diffuse white light on high with a useful amount of light on low. In many instances can see that working on the low setting at close distances will be quite sufficient. On high it will quite happily illuminate a large room. On the negative side as supplied it's not particularly comfortable to wear without a helmet because the radius of the lamp unit is relatively shallow and does not conform to the radius of the average head. Unless you fit some kind of shaped cushion between the lamp and your forehead it's not going to be particularly comfortable or stable. Consequently I can't see it being good for sports or walking without adaptation. Even so, at the price it represents good value for money and certainly pushes out the light.

Unlike most head torches which are just a focused beam, this lights up your entire field of view. It is also very comfortable and light weight, but to keep it light, the battery is small, so don't expect it to last many hours on full brightness, but on the dimmer setting, it lasts for ages, but remember, this will recharge from a Type C USB very rapidly, so I would not want the weight of a larger battery, the manufacturers have chosen well. I don't understand the need for the flashing, epilepsy inducing mode however that ALL torches now seem to have.

Very bright light quite comforting to wear! Used on welding helmet to give extra light to actually see what I am doing! Also handy as a work light when servicing the car and repairs recommended!

If you buying this light as an inspection car mechanic purpose, please don’t . The battery life it’s useless last about half hour on a fully charge before starting to glow as good as a candle light. Very disappointed I think should be cheaper then what it is .

does the job but used longer it is bit uncomfortable. Light highlights straight without chance to lower it or adjust it so is limited for DIY when most of light goes on the wall instead your hands. Battery could hold longer and charge faster.
