I am very disappointed. It is very flimsy. On opening it to sharpen my first pencil the mechanism stuck and i had to waggle it to get it to got back in. This sharpener is clearly not robust enough. It styck first time. I request a refund or better quality replacement model. Don't you test your products?

Completely unusable. The sharpener fails at its basic function. The crank handle does not stay in place and the internal mechanism does not grip the pencil. Even when tightened, the crank spins without transmitting any force. No sharpening occurs. This is not a learning curve or adjustment issue. The product is mechanically flawed. As delivered, it is not a pencil sharpener but a defective object. Requesting a full refund. ---Völlig unbrauchbar. Der Spitzer erfüllt seine Grundfunktion nicht. Die Kurbel hält nicht und der Mechanismus greift den Bleistift nicht. Selbst nach dem Festziehen dreht die Kurbel leer, ohne Kraft zu übertragen. Ein Anspitzen ist nicht möglich. Es handelt sich weder um ein Bedienungs- noch um ein Einstellungsproblem, sondern um einen mechanischen Konstruktionsfehler. In diesem Zustand ist das Produkt kein Spitzer, sondern ein defekter Gegenstand. Rückerstattung beantragt.

Makes a nice long point

sharpest points I've ever been able to get. Came with little or no interior box packing so parts had fallen off, but I was able to put the sharpener back together okay. Directions (pictures, minimal words) are clear, but a little hard to see on the side of the box and, since this pencil sharpener works a bit differently than ordinary desk ones, it was necessary to follow directions to sharpen a pencil.
