The product information technical details says this food is for an adult Maine Coon - is it? Some reviews are saying they fed their kittens this food

I’ve been feeding this product to my adult tabby cats for several years after it was recommended by their vet. It’s not cheap, although it’s effective, but I wouldn’t be putting any cats on a special diet unless I was advised to do so. Standard cat food is good for most cats - you don’t want to encourage your cat to be a faddy eater. Our two tabbies are aged 18 and 19 and thrive on variety in their diet.

How long did it take to see any response from this cat food

I got my cat from cat protection.she was already on this.her last owners only fed her human food.they put her on this and her tummy is all good with it.but she wont eat anything else.if money is no object and your cat has bad tummy.then i would say your cat would be a lucky cat if you fed it this food.hope this has helped 😁.

Is this mushy type of food or does it have chicken pieces and is it in jelly

It is quite mushy and does not have chicken pieces. I prefer to give my fur baby the Royal Canin biscuits, packed with vitamins and fresh chicken. Duck is great too, very tender and easy to digest.

Is this suitable for an older cat? Mine is 17. Thanks.

This was prescribed by my vet for my cat as she has a sensitive stomach.She is 17 as well.I am sure it would be suitable but best to check with the vet first there are several different varieties by royal canin for various feline ailments
