Great product for the money
ive used this primer once and i love it. I used it on a 90 degree day, using a hvlp harbor freight spray gun, i sprayed at 30psi to the tip and used a 1.7mm needle and tip. the primer was drying before it even hit the car ( due to the 90 degree temp). But even then, it still stuck and created a nice layer of primer. After sanding with 600 grit to get the texture feel out of the primer, it still covered the car and sanded very nicely. Next coat will be sprayed with a 2.0mm tip and needle to help prevent the paint from drying before it hits the car.

Very thick filler
Like thickness, and stretched it further by needing to add additional reducer. Comes with hardener. But at 4:1:1, you’ll need a 3.0 tip and 50psi just to shoot. I doubled up on reducer and with 2.0 tip @25psi, and almost wide open, 80*, shoots flat, and a few thin coats, build up is great and good adhesion. You need to work out what’s best for you. There are better filler primers, but this is consistent.

Great DTM product and seller!
This DTM-B624 Primer worked great and stuck to all surfaces on my 1967 Camaro. It also took base coat really well. The product is great, but the tech support is even better! I called and asked questions multiple times and they were excellent customer service. It was my first full car paint job and I asked basic questions, but they more than wanted the help. I highly reccomend Restoration Shop DTM-B624 primer if you have some sand through and exposed metal, but even more so I reccomend TCP Global Corp and their great customer service!

Works great if you know what you are doing
everyone yacking on about it drying too fast needs to learn how to read the weather and humidity the day they plan to use it instead of 4:1 knock it down to 5:1 and reduce a little if you can't figure out how to get it to work for you not discouraging DIY but the Internet is free read up watch some videos there's a lot of info out there about how to do an entire paint job start to finish and the good ones will talk about the effect the weather some gloss over that (no pun intended ) because of you do it regularly you'll just know i use this for customers on a serioud budget and ive had some cars out there for about 2 years now with thid on it i use every product on a vehicle of my own before i put it on a customers vehicle and my truck tail gate and bedside is still flawless 2 years later every paint and primer is different in its own way if you are going to paint you have to learn to adapt to the material you use

It sprays just fine if you know what and how to mix
The bad reviews must have been from people who don't really have much experience spraying. I used a lvlp gun, 1.7 tip set at 60 psi. Mixed 4:1:0.5 with the .5 being acetone(its part of the original primer mix). 85*F 83% humidity. Laid down fast and medium wet.
