Since its founding in 1922, Foreign Affairs has been the leading forum for serious discussion of international affairs. Experts from across the political spectrum offer timely and incisive analysis on the most crucial issues affecting foreign policy and the global economy. The Kindle Edition of Foreign Affairs includes all essays and book reviews found in the print edition. For your convenience, issues are auto-delivered wirelessly to your Kindle at the same time the print edition hits the newsstand every two months. Review: The most informative, well written foreign affairs periodical. Should be available in all schools. - Great magazine. My father read it for years. I used to love picking it up and leafing through it, although I was too young to understand the subject matter. When my Dad died, he has a whole stack he had saved for some reason. I read them and I was hooked. The articles and their counterpoint essays are always informative and well written. Now I have a stack of Foreign Affairs that I keep. Review: Excellent source for a wide variety of informed opinion on national and international affairs - I read Foreign Affairs to stay abreast of the views and opinions of many of the people who shape and oppose the activities of the US in the international arena. The essays are of sufficient length to provide an adequate understanding for the reasoning of the opinions expressed. It is also a great place to read reviews of the latest books on topics in this area.

This is the most authoritative intellectual journal dealing with international affairs
I have been reading Foreign Affairs in print and on Kindle for decades. It is authoritative, balanced and written by some of the most distinguished foreign policy analysts in the world, both American and international. It is must reading for any student of international affairs.

Timely and Realistic, Articles Capture what is Going on in the World NOW
I greatly enjoy reading the various opinions of the experts who contribute and publish this source of current information. Articles are well written and as a career military member they keep me informed about our world, our nation and critical issues facing us all.

Magazine is great but downloading requires a phone call
The magazine is great but Amazon has a continual issue with automatic downloading. You need to call them each month or in this case every other month to get the magazine content to download. Numerous calls to the help desk fails to permanently resolve this so be prepared to call them monthly and spend 20 to 30 minutes asking for assistance. Management refuses to follow up with a permanent solution. This is true of all magazines via the newsstand every month.

The best. Nothing else like it.
This is 10x better than all the bullshit on tv today. Intelligent, experienced, rational contributors. There is a game of global power dynamics going on right under our noses and this magazine brings it to the forefront. They focus plenty on the US but also on the other top foreign powers-China, Europe, Russia, while hitting on smaller players as well. Articles have covered: economic strategies, future military, authoritarian regimes influence, bios of current world leaders, current US diplomatic shortcomings. This magazine covers everything that is actually important from a world point of view. And for what they offer, the price is actually cheap.

Best periodical on international relations for Americans
Every month has brought insightful analysis of international relations. Studies of political hotspots offer grounds for both hope and pessimism. I have found the book reviews to be as valuable as the articles, guiding me to many fascinating and penetrating books of topics of particular historical and social interest.

I'm Disappointed
I started reading "Foreign Affairs" over 25 years ago as a student in USAF Air War College and up until recently considered it to be a politically balanced publication. Over the last few years it has become little more than a forum for the authors to vent their anti-Trump bias and to present unilateral, sophomoric "solutions" to problems that stand little or no chance of survival in the real world. Also, not all of the world's problems are "Made in the USA" and more of the articles should reflect that fact. Perhaps the current run of articles are all that the Editors have to pick from but I sincerely hope that they can achieve a better editorial balance with less political bias in the future.

I like reading Foreign Affairs. If one wants to understand how the Americans might see what is happening in the world, Foreign Affairs is very useful...( most of the articles I have read come from Americans). The opinions of other people, not only Americans, would also be very interesting.

Very informative and detailed articles from mostly US foreign policy experts covering a whole range of topics. Of course, as a US publication, it has an American view of world events which may often differ from European views but the articles are usually thought provoking and interesting. The Kindle layout and design of the magazine is very well done and the Kindle subscription cost represents excellent value for money.

Consistently excellent writing by first-rate thinkers, often with significant practical field experience in politics and international affairs. Each edition attempts to provide a well-rounded, yet reasonably in-depth overview of diverse, current perspectives on a topic of timely socio-political relevance. Kindle edition is flawlessly presented, easy to navigate, and content supposedly includes all text that appears in the print edition. Good read, cover to cover, every month.

With propaganda masquerading as news it has never been more important to be well informed by expert opinions from a broad range of viewpoints. Brilliant , cutting edge insights .
