How many people are required to play?

If you want it to be fun you would at least want 4 players, if you have more than 4 players it really gets comical.

Why is the 6 player for ages 6 and up while the 8 player is for 12 and up? It doesn't mention that one is harder than the other, only more booklets.

That's odd. I've played both and more booklets seemed to be the only difference. Telestrations After Dark is the "adult" version, but the original should be the same whether it's for 6 or 8 players. I would say 6 and up is fine for both.

Is this supposed to come with 8 booklets with 8 pages each or is one of those booklets supposed to only have 6 pages?

Our Telestrations game came with 8 booklets WITH 8 pages each.

In the 12 player version, can you still play with as little as 4 people?

We've only played with 6 to 8 people. The more people, the better and funnier the game. I didn't even know there was a 12 player version. I don't think it would work as well with just 4 people.

Christmas game of 2020

This has to be the standout game of Christmas 2020. Utterly hilarious when playing in a large group of mixed ages - there’s no winner or loser - so great for those over competitive 12 year old boys that we had to contend with. And with a 90 year old grandparent with failing eyes and ears - who couldn’t quite read the cards and whose drawing bore little resemblance to the actual desired object - just priceless. A fantastic family game - BUY IT !

Good fun.....

Got this game to play at Christmas. It is good fun and you will have lots of laughs.....at people getting the order/rules wrong just as much as the pictures etc. Instructions could be a bit clearer as it took a little while to work it out.

Brilliant fun

Fantastic game. Best played with eight, as when played with four, the drawing book went round twice so you do remember what the original item is. Played last night with friends, totally hilarious. How could anyone think that my drawing of a monastery was actually a penguin house and which finally ended up as a haunted house!

Great family game and funny

This is a fantastic game to play with family and friends. The first I played this game it was while I was in Poland with my partner and one of her cousins had this game and after that of course I just couldn’t wait to get one for ourselves.
