Great value lens protection with a clean, low‑profile fit.
This 49 mm UV filter is a simple, well‑made bit of protection for a lens. The multi‑coated glass is clear, with no visible impact on image quality, and the ultra‑slim 3 mm profile avoids vignetting even on wider lenses. It screws on smoothly and feels secure, with the threaded front allowing the lens cap to fit normally. The 16‑layer coating gives good transmittance and helps cut haze outdoors, but for me the main benefit is everyday protection - dust, fingerprints, and the occasional knock. It’s not water‑resistant, but as a low‑cost way to keep the front element safe -just make sure lens is clean before fitting, and it'll do exactly what you want. Overall, a neat, slim, good‑value filter that performs far better than its price suggests.

Excellent UV Filter for My DSLR Lens
I recently purchased the MC 49mm UV Filter - Ultra Slim 16 Layers Multi Coated Ultraviolet Protection Lens Filter for my Canon DSLR lens, and I am extremely satisfied with its performance. This filter has proven to be an essential accessory for my photography needs, providing excellent protection for my lens while delivering exceptional image quality. First and foremost, the build quality of this UV filter is outstanding. It feels solid and well-made, and the slim design adds to its aesthetic appeal. The installation process was effortless, and it fits securely onto my lens without any issues. The threading is smooth and precise, allowing for easy attachment and removal. The 16 layers of multi-coating on this filter are truly impressive. I have noticed a significant reduction in unwanted reflections, flares, and ghosting in my photos. The filter effectively blocks out UV light, which helps in preserving the true colors and sharpness of my images. I have also found it to be highly durable, with no signs of scratches or marks despite extensive use in various outdoor conditions. Moreover, this filter does not introduce any noticeable degradation to the image quality. The pictures I capture with the MC UV filter exhibit remarkable clarity, contrast, and overall brilliance. It serves as an additional layer of protection for my lens, shielding it from dust, dirt, and potential scratches without compromising the image quality. In terms of compatibility, this filter is versatile and works flawlessly with Canon, Nikon, and Sony DSLR lenses that have a 49mm filter thread. It is a convenient option for photographers who own multiple camera systems or lenses from different brands. Lastly, the price point for this UV filter is reasonable, considering the quality and performance it offers. I believe it is a worthwhile investment to safeguard the longevity and performance of my valuable lenses. To summarize, the MC 49mm UV Filter is an exceptional accessory for any DSLR lens. Its build quality, effective UV protection, and impressive image quality make it a must-have for photographers. I highly recommend this filter to anyone in need of reliable lens protection and improved photographic results. Well done, MC! Excellent value protective filter
A very reasonably-priced, slim and attractive looking filter My only issue is that being a very wide filter that is very thin, it was quite fiddly fitting the filter to the camera lens where my fear was in cross-threading the filter. That said, once I was able to connect with the thread, the filter screwed down quite securely The design makes gripping the filter much easier than I have experienced in the past

Excellent UV Filter
Fits onto the lens easily. Is very thin so doesn't increase lens size of affect hood. No noticeable effect on image quality. Ideally I'd prefer it be plain, without the coloured ring, but that's personal preference. Ideal UV filter to protect the lens from damage/dust/dirt/water etc. Well priced.

Good value
Smart, well designed uv filter. Goes well with Canon lenses, as gold ring complements lens

Cheap but Very Cheerful
Needed a cheep filter to protect the front of my lens until it is time to use it. Generally remove filters for Astro but leave on for wide angle Landscaping. This UV filter has 16 layers and is of medium quality. I would normally use Hoya or Conkin but needed this in a hurry. It has a very low profile and seems to do the job most splendidly. Very happy with this filter to at least keep the dirt and dust off my glass. Time will tell how durable it is but by its appearance it looks promising. Great value for money. Excellent in fact.

Kept my lens safe from dog
The day I brought my lens I out this uv filter on it and I was at the beach and this great big pit bull wasn’t on a leash and it jumped at me and my camera, sand a slobber everywhere but the filter took the worst of it and this filter saved my camera from the full force of a pit bull dog, it was enough to send my camera which was on a tripod and me flying backwards in to the sand and I just replaced the filter with another one of these as it did suck a good job at protecting my prime lens. I was one of those people that thought I didn’t need a filter but my friend convinced me and it’s a good job she did because it saved me lens from impact, sand and dogs drool. It’s good quality and worth the money in my opinion
