what size screws do I need?

I used heavy duty screws about 2 inches long it hasn't loosened

What width are the fixing holes

The backing plate is 100mm x 270mm the width of the fixing hole's is 70mm and the top and middle row are 150mm apart there is a single fixing hole at the bottom hope this is of help

Can these rails be used outside

They have to be screwed into a wall so if you have a wall near io you probably could I have never tried it irene
