Excellent - but not for beginners
This is an excellent resource of tips and ideas for those already binding books. It is not for beginners as it does not cover introductory basics - if thats what you're looking for have a look at 'Making Books' by The London Centre for Book Arts. Thats a step by step guide. 'Craft Binding' builds on that foundation. I'm finding it full of useful stuff - a bit like the bits and pieces of advice you'd get from a good teacher. I'm pleased I bought it.

Uninspiring and rather quite boring
Not very clear or structured. It may come in useful but will probably gather dust. The stitch diagrams are confusing. Maybe larger photos would help. Nothing to help with single sheets or anything inspiring. Extremely boring. Disappointed.

O livro tem uma apresentação predominantemente escrita. Considerando que é um trabalho manual, figuras e ilustrações ajudam na compreensão de maneira mais efetiva. Recomendo para quem já tenha conhecimento prévio de encadernação e pleno domínio do inglês.

no vale el gasto
me parece un libro que no vale la pena comprar, cuando en un tutorial de youtube o cualquier página de internet puedo encontrar su contenido, ojalá hubiera reembolso, debería de haber vistas previas no sólo del indice, sino de algunas páginas interiores, no sólo de los materiales.

Beaucoup de photo et de schéma. Complet. Je débute en reliure et je voulais un livre sur les basiques de cette technique.

Cool book with lots of suggestions
This is a cool book. It is fairly short but it has a lot of different ideas for how to bind a book creatively. Not step by step instructions so maybe not for beginners, but lots of inspiration.
