It turned out to be a self-published book. Seems no one took the time to spell check and then also to take time to make sure the words made sense in the sentences. There were a number of grammatical errors. If the time had been taken this would have really enhanced the book. The material or advice that he gave seemed to be dated. It did however spark ideas and it also made a person think of ways of using Amazon and eBay to make money. I do have a question selling books, that is the actual books themselves when downloads are so popular in today's society. I am one who loves to have the book in hand and feel the pages because for me it easier to read and understand when it is in paper form. However, as said above, today's society seems to like Kindle or Ipads for reading. Over all I would say the book was o.k. I would recommend that people read it, especially people who are looking to do or start a business. Could be very helpful in coming up with ideas or even confirming what an idea.

I have been researching selling on Amazon vs, Ebay and Rick Grubb's book provides a clear straightforward guide to anyone planning to start selling or re-selling online. His explanations are are practical and useful without a lot of over-the-top hyper-inflated promises on how easy it is or how much money you can make. Thank you Mr. Grubb I will be using your book as my guide to selling on Amazon.

This book has the worst writing I have ever read. The author uses poor grammar and terrible sentence structure, which makes the book hard to read. The content is unhelpful, and much too basic. For example, the author lists a feature of eBay and its purpose, but he does not explain how to find and use the feature. Some pages have only a paragraph of text in the middle of a chapter. The book appears to have been privately published, because there is no publisher listed and it seems like the author had no one edit the book before he published it. After reading the entire book in about an hour, I realized that the information in it could have been condensed to about 4 pages. I do not think Amazon should even have this book listed for sale among much more reputable books. I am embarrassed that I purchased it and have returned it for a refund. Don't waste your time or money purchasing this.

The ratio of good advice to bad advice is around 75/25 but the real problem is that most of what is include is very basic and probably only useful to somebody completely new to using eBay and Amazon (which is probably not you if you are reading this review on Amazon).

The book is good for beginning Sellers but the Author incorrectly states: "In the U.S. you will only get taxed if you have sold over 200 items plus $20,000 if you do not meet these requirements you will not be taxed for the year." This is bad advice. Just because you may not receive an IRS 1099-K form from ebay or Amazon does not mean you will not owe Federal Income Tax.

this is a good book well worth a read it takes you through buying and selling on amazon what i liked was its well explained the bit i liked was how to prepare your book to sell on Amazon

The title of this book must be "HOW TO SELL USED BOOKS ON AMAZON AND NEW, USED ITEMS ON EBAY" When i started to learn this book its totally different as mentioned into this title........ Author only mentioned to sell new and used item only for Ebay and not for the Amazon.... This is really annoying. i bought this item with confidence but iam not happy the way the author sell this book by giving the wrong description on the title of the book.

Great for those new to EBay although in $ not £ …wasn't really any use to me as knew everything it stated already.
