The Superhero Brain: Explaining autism to empower kids (boy)

This book is a must for everyone to read! I personally don't think it's just for empowering kids - although it will definitely do that. This book explains in a language and words which is so easy to understand about autism without jargon without medical descriptions. I am going to use this book in my work and I can't promote this book enough!!! Amazingly brilliant

We was looking forward to getting this book after lending it from school my son related to this story so much he wanted his own copy we ordered it thinking we was getting the same book yes the story is the same but the quality of this book is not & the pictures are totally different from the book we had before the pictures really let it down. But the story is excellent.

My son loved how this explained his super brain to him - he now loves to explain to everyone that he has a super brain and that makes him special 💙 ❤️

Nice book, well written, good explanations but doesn't explain my child particularly well. Will still read it to him and try and see if together we can figure out how his superhero brain shows itself. I like the concept but it's better if you've got a child who has sensory sensitivities and lines things up etc. To be fair though the author wrote it about her own son I think so it can't be expected to cover all eventualities.

This book!!!!!! Every ASD family should have a copy of this!!!!!! Autism is explained in the most understanding way for all children to understand 🧩

I'd love to shout this review from every mountain. What an amazing heart warming and positive book for anyone to read to a child with Autism. Beautiful. I filled up before I read it with my son and couldn't have wished for a nicer book to start the process of telling him he had Autism. I asked how he felt afterwards and he said "I feel superheroie" Thank you for making such a book.

Bought this for my grandson who is 7 yrs old and has autism and is just starting to notice he does some things differently to other children. I bought try to help him to understand why he sometimes he reacts differently to other children and to help him to understand he is still a "person" in his own right and can achieve his goals now and in the future. The book is written in a way any child not just children with autism can understand. Would also help children who do not have autism to understand about others who do have autism.

This book is written beautifully and tonight I read it with my son who has just received his diagnosis this week. Thank you for creating such a wonderful book. It is truly appreciated x
