Wonderful addition to our kitchen, no complaints
I'm not a raw foodie, but since I was interested in making fruit leather for my kiddos (the oven just wasn't cutting it), my husband wanted jerky, and I set fire to some dill drying it in the microwave, we decided to get a dehydrator. I researched a lot, compared reviews, watched videos, etc. and despite a few negative reviews on the Sedona, I decided it was the one I wanted. It is a beautiful piece of machinery and since it's not something that can be stashed in a cabinet when not in use (at least not my cabinets) it's definitely a perk to have something aesthetically pleasing. I was surprised to find it arrived with 3 silicone mats as well as the 9 mesh liners for each of the trays. There is also a solid tray to block the top or bottom section off if only using one or the other. Some of the big selling points were the digital display, controls on the front of the unit, the ability to use only one half at a time (due to having two fans - a feature I use frequently), and the see-through door (though, I'll be honest, I open it and pull out the trays to check status anyway).I've had this dehydrator for about 9 months now and it gets used about 3-5 days a week. It's wonderfully quiet and has worked for all of the items I've used it for such as drying fresh herbs, making jerky, and drying fruits and fruit leather. I've also used it for a number of unconventional uses such as proofing dough, drying out rained-on newspapers, melting coconut oil at a low temp, defrosting butter without melting it, and keeping fresh tortillas warm (covered, of course). Down the line, I'm sure I'll also use it for drying out children's craft projects (glitter glue, dough ornaments, and such). So many of the uses I've used it for take advantage of the box style of dehydrator that just aren't possible with a stacked tray dehydrator. So far, I love this unit and I'm glad we spent the extra on it. For us, it is a luxury item, not vital to our way of life, but it really gets used quite a bit and I'm so thankful we were able to spend the extra amount on it.

Very Nice Addition
I love it, not much else to say. Works very well and makes awsome jerky. I smoke my jerky in my smoker for 2-3 hours and finish in the Sedona. The only thing so far that has me P*ss off is you can'r register it on line. You have to send in their warranty card by mail. You would think they would have that option, other than that its a great dehydrator
