Skin Colour Pencils

Just learning the art of colour in my sketching, skin is so complex so getting a set like this that you can keep together and know what colours to use is great, did my first tentative steps the other day and was quite impressed with myself. So i have nothing bad to say at all, the colour went on beautifully, and blended seamlessly if someone had asked me a couple of weeks ago what colours you used for skin I would have said a couple, now its about 5. but have to thank Mont Marte for a high quality product, and a selection of colours put together that takes the guesswork out of which colour palette you need to get together no matter what skin colour your trying to do

These are really nice pencils and the colors lay down and lend well some of the colors I wouldn't use for skin tones but they can be quite easily used for animals fur etc the pencil sharpener I have is fine for them and they sharpen well and don't appear to break. My only critism is that the presentation is not good they come in a flimsy cardboard box and the company is letting themselves down here, why not put them in a durable tin like the black widows I actually think they are better than the black widows as they are softer and lend far better but that is my opinion I was pleasently surprised by them

These pencils are perfect for different skin colours. Really pleased with them.

Good quality pencils.

Nice range of tones and they blend fairly easily to create more shades. I usually do portrait sketches in graphite so purchasing these have doubled my potential.

Skin tones are so difficult to achieve so I was impatient to try these pencils, the wait was worth it! They are all I expected from this company, perfect!!

These are great quality pencils. The portraits drawn come out very well when we use the Mont Marte Skin color pencils.

Ich habe mich schon, als ich das Foto sah, in das Hautfarben Set von Mont Marte verliebt. Die Farbauswahl in diesem hier ist nämlich außerordentlich gut gewählt. Man hat wunderbar die Möglichkeit Menschen mit den verschiedensten Hauttypen zu zeichnen. Ich habe das Set auf unterschiedlichen Papieren getestet. Was mir aufgefallen ist, das es besser auf etwas rauerem Papier funktioniert. Da ich ein Fan von glatten Papieren bin, musste ich hier öfters etwas mehr Kraft aufbringen damit die Farbe schön aufs Papier kommt. In Kombination mit Bleistift funktionieren super und die Farben im Set verblenden sich sehr gut ineinander. Auch nach vielen Schichten konnte man gut eine etwas andere Farbe reinarbeiten. Diese Stifte sind meines erachtens für das gröbere Malen besser geeignet. Schnelle, schwungvolle Zeichnungen klappen damit super. Sie sind etwas dicker als herkömmliche Stifte, sitzen aber immer noch gut in der Hand. Bei feineren Details wurde es dann schon schwerer. (Wobei man hier auch sagen muss, es kommt aufs Format an.)

Arrivés en très bonne état, bien emballé. Contenus dans une petite boite en carton. Aucune mine de cassée. Beau choix de couleur peau permettant de faire aussi bien des peaux clairs que plus foncées. Crayons de couleur et non pastels comme je le pensais, mais qui sont doux à appliquer et se mélangent bien. Un peu plus gros que les crayons de couleurs ordinaires. Mines ni sèches ni grasses. Petit bémol. Pas de noms ni de numéros marqués sur les crayons. Je les ai numérotés moi-même pour les reconnaître.
