Smart looking, recently smashed my Russel hobbs carafe style glass kettle so bought this one as replacement. Much better design, the lid is easier to fit than previous and it pours nicely. TIP for glass kettle users - get yourself some distilled WHITE vinager and fill half the kettle with vinager and half water once monthly to keep it looking new and limescale free without using harsh chemicals : )

Bought this to replace a different model that broke This is a very nicely made and well balanced kettle from Morphy Richards that sits nicely on the work top and has a nice stylish no nonsense design with a nice hand grip and not too weighty when full Overall it works well and boils fairly quickly maybe a little faster than my old one and seems to stay hot longer too my opinion is money well spent and I use it daily

It is a really good looking kettle, lightweight (5*) and easy to use (5*), a good shade of white too, not brilliant and not creamy. I would call it a warm white. Could only give 4* for durability, as we have only had it for a couple of months, so don't know how long it will last... hopefully a very long time, like our last kettle. Would recommend this make and style.

This is a good kettle at a very reasonable price. it has a couple of problems: the limescale filter is difficult to remove and replace in the spout; and the water level viewing pane is under the handle . I can see the level of the water but can't make out the numbers at all. For someone with age-related eyesight problems like me, even the minimum and maximum marks don't show up. however, an important feature is the spout which is pointed and level, and pours very well, not like my old kettle where the spout was a more rounded shape and sloped down a bit, so it dribbled a bit when pouring.

I love this kettle. I chose the white one - which incidentally had a white lead, not a black one as shown in another reviewer's photo. So that's a bonus. It's beautiful to look at in white with a silver trim. It looks expensive - but isn't. It's very stylish and doesn't look plastic at all. It pours perfectly and itsn't noisy. It's just the right size - 1.5L. It did leave a smell of plastic when I boiled it out, which I did 3 times before I used it, but it certainly doesn't smell of plastic now - which is why you're advised to boil it first. I had to try 3 kettles before I was lucky enough to get this one - and they all had something wrong with them so I feel very lucky that I found this one. Fab.

I really like this kettle. It's not too heavy and looks really stylish in my kitchen. I like the white light instead of the nasty blue light that is on most kettles. It's only just come out the box so I don't know how long it will last but it makes a hotter brew than my old kettle and boils quickly. It is quite loud.

I really like this kettle, if I ever need a new one It would only be in this price range so to me it's a very good buy for the price. I find this kettle has qualities that you would find on a more expensive model, I find it easy to fill it has a button that you press down and the lid pops up. I also like the bright white light that illuminates when switched down to boil the water. All in all I'm very happy with my purchase.
