The old one leaked because the gasket around the shut off valve was long gone. I tried using o-rings but since the gasket is triangle-shaped the o-ring wouldn't form a seal without pushing the o-ring off while tightening. Someone complained about the control arm breaking and, no thread sealer. This one has the sealer and, the control arm appears well seated but not as good as the OEM which has a heavier 'arm' and is pressed on better giving it a stronger fitting.
