But the noise those plastic wheels make could drown out my mum-in-law. So, I covered them with 4 layers of neoprene adhesive tape, neoprene rubber self adhesive strip 50mm wide x 2mm thick x 10m long, and now everything's peachy. Had a trike before this that was useless because he couldn't reach the pedals, and left his feet dangling instead. This ride has loads of space for his feet. The storage compartment fits a bottle of water, snacks and nappies. It's not perfect, because you can't really steer it. But my son loves it nonetheless.
