I bought these as replacement filters for my Delonghi coffee machine. I live in a hard water area so knew that I’d be going through them at a fair rate - I was pleased to see this two-pack for a reasonable price. And being Delonghi I knew that they’d be compatible with my machine. Installing the filter was easy, you just dunk it in water to make sure that it’s filled, then push it into place. There’s not much click to prove that it’s fitted correctly, but it seemed to work well enough. It seems that there’s stone or chalk-like elements within the filter to filter the water. I was pleased that these filters seemed to be compatible with a wide range of Delonghi coffee machines, and mine have lasted a fair while despite the hardness of the local water - I’d say one filter easily lasted me four months or so. Overall I’d recommend, even if these filters are a little pricey.
