Mr. Robot: Season_1.0 & 2.0 [DVD]

1. The Package itself It came exactly as expected, with a nice slip cover box as Pictured in Amazon's Product Images with both the season 1 DVD case and season 2 DVD case inside. Although the slip cover doesn't allow wiggle room to get just one DVD case from it if you have both Season 1 and Season 2 DVD in the slip cover box, so I suggest you face the slip cover downwards towards the floor and catch both cases with your hands as both Cases slide out, to avoid damaging them or ripping the Slip Cover Box. There are 7 discs in total with 3 discs in the Season 1 DVD Case and 4 discs in the Season 2 DVD Case. And don't worry the DVDs include special features. And beware The DVDs are Region 2 so they'll only play in The UK or Europe. But Nowadays there are software online that'll remove the region codes from a DVD for you but do that at your own risk. 2. The TV Show itself. An amazing TV show if you're a computer techie or a conspiracy nut or introverted like the Main Character Eliot you'll love this show. It has very accurate hacking scenes and tools, gripping drama, lots of characters in it to keep you hooked. It has all the Philosophical "Matrix" vibes and you may find yourself relating to Eliot alot like I have. Without spoilers The Show is basically about Eliot who is an awkward introverted misanthropic Cybersecurity engineer who is recruited by someone who goes by the handle "Mr Robot" to join an underground hacker group called fsociety who feel as though there is a lot of evil in the world due to the elites. "The top 1 percent of the top 1 percent" and their power. So the hacker group sets out on an ultimate mission to take away that power and cause the biggest economic market crash by deleting all the financial institutions and Clomgomerates (Which Eliot collectively calls Evil Corp in his head or "E" Corp) money and erasing world debt. In hopes of bettering society. There's lots of twists and turn to keep you hooked I'd definitely recommend this show to everyone.

This was a Christmas present and I know they’ve been watched so I’m assigning all is good with the quality of the discs and all that. They came in good time and look like the picture. As for the programme itself it is worth a watch just for the first season. I like the concept there is an interesting twist. It is kind of slower and done with quiter scenes then most of the shows around today. So it a different style but that works for what it’s trying to do.

Brilliant acting, excellent narrative and some interesting surprises.

Found the plot hard to follow and could not raise any empathy with any of the people. Did not finish all of it

Excellent series

The first episode was interesting, the second started to drop, by the third episode it was getting pretentious, by the 4th it was all over the place. Thereafter it became silly. The tech part is very small, almost incidental. This is basically a story about someone who suffers from mental illness. He cannot distinguish between reality , and his illusions/delusions/dreams. some of the episodes are set in the past, some seem to be alternate realities. The storyline is excrutiatingly slow, and is all over the place. I would never have bought/bothered with Series 2, but as it came in a box set of 1+2, I was stuck with it. Not sure why it had so many good reviews...maybe it appeals if you have been inhaling too much. But series 2 is more of the same, and gets even more torturous as the mind of the main character goes walkabout in all different directions. Was he really in prison, or was he watching a basketball game? And after a few episodes of this confusion, who cares? Anyway, save your money.

Pensaba que el fallo del idioma estaría arreglado en este pack y nada. Hay dos capítulos en LATINO, cuando deberían estar en CASTELLANO. Lamentable. Me siento ESTAFADO de nuevo por AMAZON. Actualización: Me he puesto en contacto con la página en facebook de "Universal Pictures DVD Blu-ray", donde me enviarán una copia de los discos afectados (obviamente ya corregidos). Así que si lo vais a comprar, tened en cuenta este punto. Saludos. Actualización 2: He recibido la copia corregida y... No está corregida. Mismo error. De ahí que baje una estrella de nuevo mi puntuación. Actualización 3: He recibido la segunda copia corregida y... ya SÍ está corregido. No he tenido que pagar nada por las copias ni he tenido que devolver los discos con el audio mal.
