Beautiful Pen
I've always liked writing with fountain pens and aspired to one day owning a MontBlanc. I saw this one and it looked similar in shape and dimensions to the one I considered my most comfortable pen, so decided to treat myself. When it turned up (on time and in perfect condition) and I opened the box, I couldn't believe it. My other pens are nice quality, but this Montblanc just seems more robust and shiny than the other ones, like a piece of jewellery, and when I'd filled it and started writing, it was the same, just better than all the others. I know it seems like you're paying a lot of money, but if you want to treat yourself to one that is the last one you'll need to buy, it's worth it.

Cheap plastic case and finish
The pen is nasty. For 400 quid - don’t buy it. I’m sure the nib is good, but the feel, quality and finish are not of high end. Poor

The best only for the privileged few
This is a beautiful pen made of precious resin. It writes very smoothly like no other. I highly recommend this product.

Not what I was expecting
The specification on the Amazon product page said the model was a 149. I did have my suspicions but ordered it anyway. On inspection it turned out to be more of a small pocket pen. The box was a dirty and had a second hand look. The pen was very dusty as well. It did look like a genuine Montblanc though I refused delivery.

Smoothest fountain pen for writing
When writing with this pen, only the lightest of touches is required for a flow, which stops the ink showing through on some dubious quality paper. The wide barrel makes the pen easy and comfortable to handle.

stylo plume parfait pour ceux qui aime écrire ; la qualité de mont blanc n'est plus a faire sa renommé non plus ; le prix est plus attractif qu'en boutique ; attention a la dimension de la plume pour la largeur d'écriture , le n° n'est pas indiqué sur la présentation; pour ma part la dimension inférieure aurait été plus a ma main !
