Logitech M330 SILENT PLUS Wireless Mouse

Perfect item at a good price. Arrived well packaged. The mouse was easy to set up, be aware the usb connector is housed within the mouse itself, slide open the small panel on the bottom of the device which also houses the battery and you will find the usb, remove the usb and connect it to your pc. The pc should almost immediately recognise the Logitech M330, it should be compatible with any pc device which in turn makes it portable by simply removing the mouse usb device and inserting it into another pc. Without any adjustments I have found the device to respond perfectly whether using a mouse matt or a directly on a table with a soft sheen top. It feels sturdy and the size for me was perfect allowing a confident grip. If you are looking at this device it is probably because you want a silent performing device and this is exactly that. It is responsive to all clicks and there is a very dull sound from it as opposed to a definite click sound. Previously I had the Logitech M220 and this is much more comfortable in hand and definitely a fantastic upgrade.

Very soft, nice height for small hands and silent clicker

Good mouse, it's genuinely silent, battery comes included, comfortable to use

Yes, it is silent and build quality is really good. Precision is really good, once turned on the computer picks it up in less than 1 second, first time installation is flawless without issues even on a strictly secured computer (for users with limited permissions), there is a hardware on/off switch under the mouse. It comes with a battery (AA) ready to work. Weights 91g with the battery. It is a 5 actions mouse. Left Click, Right Click, Scroll up, Scroll Down, Middle Click (click scroll wheel). It is fast and accurate, any other reviews that say the opposite, simply send the mouse back and ask for a replacement. As it is slightly smaller than the standard mouse, and especially if you have large hands/fingers, it might seem a bit awkward to get used to it. On a side note: a) I do not like that I have to remove the battery cover in order to get the USB dongle out, and then put back the battery cover again. It should be under the mouse, directly accessible in a similar way Microsoft has its dongle attached to the mouse. I find this minor detail very unprofessional for the type of office usage this mouse was mostly intended. b) the rough sides, with the pattern, will get dirty easily and it is going to be a strangle to keep cleaning it all the time. Again, it might look good but not that much for a slick professional usage. c) a simpler look and without the logitech logo standing out that much would make it even more professional and the perfect mouse for business, office use and client meeting. Overall: If you are looking for a silent mouse, this seems to be the only suitable option from a reputable vendor at a reasonable price (£15.99 at Nov/2017). Minor improvements can be made (see points 1, 2, 3 above) and Logitech should consider making them as this is a product that has tremendous future in the market. The mouse technology is not rocket science in 2017 and it should be an affordable mouse that is silent and reliable. It is mentioned that the battery will last approximately 2 years due to the sleep feature that allows it to save energy. If this true then it is an good added feature to the mouse. (I haven't tested the wake up feature just yet. I hope it wakes up fast just by moving it because if you have to click is very unreliable because you might click something that you shouldn't accidentally). UPDATE: tested the wake up feature, you don't have to click (which is awesome), just move it to 2 different directions (i.e. slightly left-right). If Logitech looks to this silent mouse technology a bit closer and expands this line of silent mice with a couple more models targeting business / office usage at an affordable price, there will be no reason for someone to buy any other mouse in the future.

soft in the hand

Nice quiet and reliable mouse. I tend to work quietly so this is the one mouse I've found that's actually quiet with no annoying clicks. I first bought it six years ago and this replacement seems a lot snappier and more responsive. Battery lasts well and connection is simple - just plug in the USB and get to work.

Great little product and some brilliant customer service long after purchase.

These mice are great, especially if you like them to click silently. I've bought maybe 7 or 8 of them over the years. The only thing is get them from reputable sellers - there are a lot of rubbish knock-offs of them about (onbuy, I'm looking at you). Plug and play on Windows and every Linux distro I've tried them on. (Not tried on Mac). Light weight, last well but will get slightly less silent after enough years of use - not every bad enough to throw out, though. Quality, recommended.

Excellent

So silent and convenient to use in the office. You won’t hear that annoying sound from a mouse clicking while working. It also comes with a battery which is good. I recommend this product.
