I have a batch of quail eggs running at the moment, very interesting design and absolutely love the watering from the outside feature, it definitely makes a difference. It comes with a few extra parts, only thing is that I don’t think it automatically gauges the humidity but a simple fix so I’m adding a humidity gauge to ensure I keep track of it. Overall it’s a small incubator but works very well

I love the idea of water bottles for humidity during lockdown, however it FLOODED the inside and leaked everywhere. Unfortunately, on chick drowned immediately after pipping. The humidity and temperature are EXTREMELY inconsistent. Adding the water bottles no only caused flooding but massive condensation build up and makes the viewing portion useless . We've never had this many eggs not make it to hatching. We had 4 eggs stop growing between days 5-15, in addition to the one drowning. The first chick that hatched successfully, ended up injured because of all the plastic bits inside and the uncovered screws. Do not purchase this incubator if you want to hatch eggs humanely. This will definitely cause injury and/or death to the chicks. The display is difficult to read and the inside temps do not match the temperature you set it to. This would be a very great incubator design, if executed properly.

Not a bad incubator but it’s not consistent. We had maybe 1 out of 5 chicks hatch out of it. Not being able to control humidity or know the humidity it the worst part. We ended up having to throw it away. Wouldn’t buy again.

I dont know how this is as it was a gift. I havent heard any complaints.

I had my doubts about this incubator…granted I’m no expert at hatching but I couldn’t find a way to raise or lower the humidity. The device I used read a consist 75 humidity the entire incubating cycle. Then during hatching after removing the rollers it read 95+ humidity. Most sites said keep humidity at 50-70 during incubation and 75 during hatching. The temp read a consist 101.3 during the entire cycle…and most sites said keep temp at 99.6. So I thought nothing would hatch. I actually a better than average hatch rate so far…65% so far and perhaps it would have been higher but this was my first hatch! So happy! I included a pic of my hatched button quail (I also ordered the eggs off Amazon!), the incubator and the temp/humidity device.

Worked great with my 6 eggs. Super reliable. With one water bottle the humidity stayed right around 60% and with two it stayed around 78%. Temp was pretty accurate. I did need to keep the styrofoam insulator on most the time. Our indoor temp is around 68-70 degrees.

I wanted to love this incubator, as set up was very quick and easy. But.. Temp varies some time by 1.5 a degrees. Temperature shows it stays pretty well when opening for candling, but actually cools off significantly. Humidity seems to be a bit off. The auto rotator did cause displaced air cells and pushed all the eggs to one side of the rollers. 2/7 eggs hatched in this incubator. I am a bit disappointed as I had to order a new incubator, the eggs I have ready for a new batch are far to valuable to chance. If your looking for some thing cheap and don’t care about your hatch rate this is decent enough to hatch out a couple- if your lucky.

Worked ok for about a week and a half, now it wont control temp, says 180 on the screen but is actually 84 degrees and its a complete loss of my eggs, and the company will not stand behind the product, the directions are translated from Chinese and dosnt make sense when you read it, also gives no trouble shooting to any problems, not sure how this thing had good reviews but it is definitely not worth the money and aggravation, DO NOT BUY seek another product, this is a very poorly made product it was also very hard to find water bottles that fit this unit and had to improvise to get them to work. And then the paragraph pictured, what? What does this mean? Basically admitting that its junk?
