I've been using this stuff for years. When I have been working outside in the cold, I get painful splits in the tips of my fingers and thumbs. Lotil is the only cream that I have ever found which helps to sooth and heal these splits so I was really pleased to find it on sale on Amazon.

I discovered lotil when I was a young girl.I used to suffer terribly with chapped and cracked lips especially in the winter they used to crack right down the middle nothing ever worked until I discovered lotil.. I remember the first time I used it it sinks in straight away and by the next day my chapted and cracked skin had completely healed.. it is also for any dry chapped skin wherever on the body. I have continuously used it now for about 40 years and I would use nothing else...

I had two terrible skin splits on my thumb either side of thumb nail...they were really sore to touch...as soon as I applied this cream instant relief! ....magic!...Im pleased I remembered its use for this problem an old pharmacist I worked for used it for this purpose herself... this was over 50 yrs ago ...thank God its still made and never changed. I will use this as a hand cream now too its marvellous. I know something I will never be without it.

Husband has only just started using, product recomended by local pharmacist as builders rate it, so will see if it works on his very cracked hands

I'm from humid Florida and always have suffered from chapped and cracked skin when I spend more than a few days in the western United States or other arid climates. A woman let me use her's while on a trip when my knuckles began to get close to bleeding. Within a couple of days I was fine. I now put it on at night when I am in such a locale and no longer have the problem.
