I was initially recommened Nioxin by my hairdressers following my hair thinning and previously falling out as a side effect off medication.Within a short period of time I could notice the improvement with my hair.It was thicker in texture and had a good shine to it.Other people also commented on the change in my hair.It has a nice aroma to it and the products lasted for long time.The first time I purchased it from hairdressers and she showed me the improvement on other individuals hair who had utilized the product.I am looking forward to returning to my hairdressers to compare the results prior to nioxin and several monts after.Naturally as my hair texture has improved it has given me my confidence back.I was advised which Nioxin to use by my hairdressers so to get the best benefit from the shampoo it might be the best to consult your hairdresser.I strongly recommend nioxcin as it actually works therefore worth the money. UPDATE 2/7/14 I returned back to my hairdresser and she showed me through using a camera on my scalp that I had increased follicle growth and bottom of follicles where clean so was well happen with that and have not also bought the intensive tratment to utilize on occassions for that extra boost.Will continue to use this shampoo indefinately and two friends of mine have also noticed improvement since they commenced using it.

I've been using nioxin 5 for about a year now and bought this size for going on holiday but it's also a good way to find out what the product is like and to see if it's worth the money. I started using it in the lead up to my wedding as my hair was so thin and really lacked volume. It looked quite limp and I was washing it everyday as it looked greasy 12 hours after washing. I didn't notice much difference in the first few weeks but my hair felt so much cleaner after just one wash. After 4-6 weeks the greasiness had completley gone and I could probably get away without washing my hair every day. At 8 weeks my hairdresser could see a real difference in the health of my hair and scalp and after a few more I could see a difference in hair volume. My hair now looks above normal volume and is very healthy. One of the best things about this is that you only need a small amount compared to cheaper alternatives. My hair is below shoulder length and I use a blob about the size of a 10p coin for both shampoo and conditioner.

My hairdresser recommended that I buy this shampoo when I was trying to grow my hair for my wedding last year. I think its really important with Nioxin that you use the correct number for your hair type and you do your research before you purchase, because its not cheap, and I think the results vary depending on your hair type and what benefits you are looking for. My hair isn’t thin, but I was looking for it to grow more rapidly. I do know people who use Nioxin because their hair is thinning, and they want it to grow thicker rather than faster, and I believe it is also good for that too. The principal as far as I can gather is the same, it cleanses the hair follicle to allow improved growth. My hairdresser gave me a few pieces of advice, I was washing and straightening my hair every day, which she told me to stop doing, I now wash my hair on every 2nd/3rd day, to use the Nioxin once a week, and stop using heat treatment so much on my hair. Because I implemented all of these things at once I guess it is hard to tell if it is once single thing, or a combination of them all which helped but I have definitely seen a difference. I went from black hair to blonde hair within the space of a few months, and I have had minimal breakage and my hair has grown really quickly. I find the shampoo makes your hair feel really really “clean”, and if I leave it on too long I do find it can be quite drying. I try to only use it on the roots of my hair rather than the ends. I think that’s the idea, however it is for that reason that I think I wouldn’t recommend use more than once a week, which is why I think my hairdresser recommended that. Love the menthol conditioner also. There are a few products on the market which claim to give the same results, I have not tried them all, but I believe this is the most effective. I would definitely recommend Nioxin, give it a try for a few months and I think you’ll see a difference.

Fantastic product, I didnt spot the size of the bottles, have bought bigger ones before so assumed it was one size. Value for money on this size isnt great but they do offer bigger bottles, the 1000ml works out at very good value for example. On to the product itself, I suffer from dry scalp, very bad at times. I've tried most every treatment/product imaginable and none of them work. I find it fascinating that so many brands can get away with selling shampoos that counter dry scalp and get rid of dandruff but dont actually work at all. Or maybe my heads just special. This stuff really does work for me, whatever is in it is magic, minimal dry scalp, no itchiness or anything else that comes with the unpleasant affliction. It has very specific instructions for use so make sure to follow them carefully to get the most out of the product! I started using this about 6 months ago and I don't expect I will go back to anything else for a long time.

Nioxin ha fatto davvero un ottimo lavoro con questa linea di prodotti anche in KIT. Uso questo kit ora mai da circa 4 mesi e posso ritenermi pienamente soddisfatto. Chiaramente non fa miracoli, non vi aspettate di ritrovarvi un ciuffo alla Elvis, ma il capello e la cute saranno visibilmente piu belli e sani. Lo uso ogni volta che mi lavo i capelli e praticamente ho sostituito il vecchio shampoo e balsamo. In oltre fornisce una gradevole sensazione di fresco a tutta la testa (credo che contenga qualcosa a base di menta). Dopo aver applicato lo shampoo in modo classico ma concentrandomi sulla cute, passo al "balsamo". Sempre ottimo prodotto, che però gradirei facesse un pochina di "schiuma" in più. A fine del lavaggio e prima di passare allo styling applico con capelli umidi la mousse finale senza risciacquo Anche qui l'applicazione su consiglio del mio parrucchiere la faccio direttamente sul cuoio capelluto andando a creare 3 righe tra i capelli e spruzzando la mousse direttamente sulla pelle per poi distribuirla con il dito per tutta la lunghezza della riga. Consiglio vivamente questo prodotto a tutti quelli che vogliono uno shampoo dedicato alla cura del loro capello e della loro cute.
