1/2" Part 2 High Pressure Brass ball Valve

Had to fix Expansion tank, This fixed. Good enough quality for about 4 years life.

Worked well as a replacement for one in a hot water header tank. Easy to swap with minimum tools for any home DIYer. Just turn the water off first. One tip - buy a new float to go with it - I tried re-using the old one and the thread just fell to bits - obviously just old. For the sake of a couple of quid, buy a new float at the same time.

As described, fit for purpose and did the job - no complaints.

Ball cock valve assembly in cold water tank to control the level of water in the tank from the mains water. I had difficulty undoing the the old connection to the mains water so ended up just replacing the the valve diaphragm washer. Can't fault the product just could have done with two pairs of grips.

I replaced the washer in my existing valve but it wouldn't stop dripping so I got this to replace it. I tried to reuse the ball off the old one when I fitted this one but it wouldn't unscrew so I had to get a new one. As mentioned by others, this is almost exactly the same as the one it replaced except that the arm is very loose on the split pin and it flaps all over the place. Since fitting it, I have been getting a lot of vibration in the pipes when the tank is almost full. I've tried everything I can think of but I can't stop it. Looking at the old one, I discovered that the split pin was disintegrating so I used the one from the new one and put the old one back. Not only does it not make the noise, it isn't dripping any more. Seems like I just needed a new washer and split pin for the old one. Suppose that's whey they sell them as a kit? haha.

je l'ai installée, rien de spécial pour le moment mais attention, le bec verseur est au-dessus de la tige ce qui fait que cela touche le haut de mon réservoir. D'autres systèmes ont l'écoulement dans l'axe de la tige par en-dessous mais pas avec ce système donc prévoir l'espace suffisant par le haut. De même que pour la boule, pour la visser, le diamètre ne doit pas être trop gros.
