Highly recommend.

Good study companion
Who doesn't like this book? I bought this book for our student when she started to study Kinesiology, now she's got one more year to go. The book was a good companion and we got our money's worth out of it.

Good gift material for aspiring surgeons
Good book, although shrift is too little for me. however considering how large original book is it's understandable. only problem i had is that corner were damaged after i transferred through air to different country

Traditional book on medicine but needs updating
Greys Anatomy was the Bible of anatomy, however I could not even find on a section on the nervous system.

Great gift for aspiring teenage medical professionals
When I got my older two kids this book (one is a 20 yr old EMT and the other a 17 year old high school student), they laughed and thought this was a book related to that sleazy other book. They soon realized how awesome this book is. I had one of these as a child and read it cover to cover. This book has everything you ever want to know about the human body in it. Also, the paperback is convenient for them to carry in their backpack and make notes in it. Really great gift for a teenager in my opinion.

Beautiful Printing of a Medical Classic
Although an abridged version, this book still has the beautifully precise prints which made the book special. I love having it around.

Comes with a nicely illustrated hard book cover. The book itself has a red silk cover, which looks great. Filled with incredible woodblock illustrations and tons of medical facts and knowledge. I have friends who work within the medical sector, and they have all remarked at how impressed they were with it.

El "original" que quería
Exactamente lo que quería: el libro con las ilustraciones originales. El problema es que viene en ingles, pero no podía ser de otra manera debido a que es como un facsímil. Como lo compré electrónico, me vino inmediatamente y sin problema ninguno.
