Perfect stocking filler for the nature lover. Very informative, appreciate the uniform format of all pages, makes looking up specific info very easy. Great pictures and diagrams. Overall very pleased.

Truly pocket sized, lovely clear illustrations and information. Nice and easy to navigate and flick through to find what you need. A great asset on a walk to identify mushrooms.

This book is very small and I wish it was a little bigger as it's quite hard to read some of the information. Otherwise it's great. Mushrooms are well organised into sections and there are plenty of warnings about look-alikes that may not be edible. I would not rely on this alone, it is a always a good idea to use multiple sources, but it's great for using out in the field/woods.

A very clear & informative pocket sized book. Good photographs to help identify any finds in the wild with explanations where they may be found growing & what on. Whether a type of mushroom is edible or not as well as the reasons why some of them aren't i.e. too tough, taste bad, not big enough or deadly poisonous! An enjoyable book to read at home but definitely something to carry through the countryside.

Happy future husband (he doesn’t know that yet 😆) some mushrooms that he hasn’t seen in other books, he’s looking forward to his next trip to the woods as it fits in his outdoor walking trouser leg pocket perfectly

Great book, ideal for the very serious forager. Photos, explains identifying methods and terminology, teal in depth reading!

I really like this little book. I think it’s a great starter book if you want to go into foraging for mushrooms, and I like how the illustrations descriptions and content make it clear that foraging is accessible to everyone provided you follow safety rules. It is a light book, and small enough that it can fit into most pockets. I should know how important this is as, being a lady, my pockets are never big enough! I have used this book a few times, and will continue to do so!

Increiblemente bien escrito, organizado, fotos perfectas, explicaciones muy precisas avisando de posibles confusiones. Debería ser obligatorio tener este libritos y los otros de esta serie. Tan pequeño que nunca nos lo olvidamos al ir por el monte.

Awesome little book, great detail, photos and informative

bring your reading glasses. It tells you if it's edible but maybe isn't tasty. Also if it's got look alike poisionous ones. Great little field book. You can look up the identification when your at home and see if it's what you have. Never use only on ID when picking mushrooms.
