Looks like a good size for a child to handle while exploring....can't wait to hear how it goes. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brilliant functional everyday science kit at a good price *by J***O on 7 August 2025* I got this for my daughter when she was 3 or 4 after seeing it at a friend’s place and have since bought another one for a slightly older nephew as it’s so good. Everyone is surprised by how well it works - it is a really powerful microscope and we’ve had loads of fun looking at and learning about everything from the diodes on TV screens to the fibres of clothes to leaves and feathers. It often accompanies us on walks since it’s small and light. The only problem is that the clear round bit on the end falls off easily and can get lost. The microscope still works without it but it’s a little harder to hold in the right place (its function is to touch the surface so that the actual lens is a few millimetres away from the item being looked at and the light shines on the item).
