Very good quality item and much easier to run out than the round CAT 7 Ethernet Cable and fits straight into the adapter if you are looking to extend your Ethernet Cable run and the price is also a good price.

Sometimes even good Wi-Fi proves problematic, and in those situations there's no beating a solid cable connection directly from your PC to your hub. This cable is one of the better flat ones for such tasks, the metal reinforced sockets seem quite capable of taking a little rough handling, and the cable itself is more robust than some I've worked with - whilst still having a perfectly acceptable profile for mostly routing it under carpet edges, out of sight.Signal integrity has been spot on as well, with no drops or glitches in the connection provided.Would buy again if needed, highly recommended.

I ordered the 2m cable in white and was not surprised when I received a 2m cable in white !It didn't rock my world or change my life for the better but then again I wouldn't expect it to, what it did do was to allow me to move my powerline adapter off the 4 socket extension lead and plug it directly into the wall socket, which in turn improved my internet connection and reliability.I should have done this a long time ago, my internet connection has been steadily getting worse and was randomly disconnecting more frequently but I just couldn't see how moving the adapter to the wall socket would make any difference (even though everyone recommends it). After a bit of research I discovered the power supply in my computer could actually be one of the main causes of interference in the mains (who knew?) and as they were both plugged into the same extension lead I decided to try it and it worked (of course) ! Previously the best speed I was getting on Speedtest was about 18Mbps but that was very inconsistent (usually around 3 or 4Mbps) and could drop right down to zero until I restarted the connection which I had to do frequently ! Now I am getting a consistent 26Mbps which has only noticeably dipped a couple of times in the past few days but has recovered itself without needing to re-set the connection.The cable is soft and flexible and un-coils nicely, does not want to coil itself back up again and lays nice and flat. The gold plated shields are a little over the top and don't serve any practical purpose really and the 2 year warranty is very reassuring but also unnecessary.Far nicer than the generic yellow CAT5E cables I was using previously !Definitely recommended if you haven't upgraded your ethernet cables for a while and are using the one that came with your router !

I recently upgraded to Vodafone's Gigabit Fibre plan with speeds up to 950 Mbit download and upload. To take full advantage of these blazing fast speeds over my home network, I needed an Ethernet cable that could handle the high bandwidth. This Cat 7 cable has been fantastic - I'm now getting full gigabit speeds from my fibre modem to my computer and devices connected over Ethernet.The flat design makes installation easy, I was able to tuck it neatly against the baseboards in my office. The cable itself feels very durable with quality connectors. I didn't experience any speed issues or network drops, even when transferring large files or streaming 4K video. If you need a reliable Ethernet cable to handle gigabit fibre speeds, I highly recommend this one! Very impressed with the performance.

Ho comprato questo cavo per connettere un notebook ad un modem ruoter in altra stanza distante circa 10 mt, non avevo voglia di passare cavi nelle canaline o nei battiscopa spostando mobili vari, allora ho scelto un cavo piatto perché dovevo passare sotto 2 porte e col cavo a sezione tonda non sarei riuscito.Il primo requisito era lo spessore, non sempre viene dichiarato, questo è spesso soli 2,37 mm circa, è quindi veramente molto sottile nonostante l’ottima costruzione, poi è molto flessibile e sono riuscito a fare curve e torsioni senza nessun problema; sono passato sotto due porte con pochissimo spazio dal pavimento e sotto due tappeti dove non si nota minimamente.Veramente ottimo quindi, ma la qualità della connessione? Ottima anche quella.La mia zona è servita da una fibra mista rame VDSL, quindi FTTC, la distanza dal cabinet è circa 850 mt e in più per entrare in casa ci sono altri 100 mt del solito doppino in rame . . . la velocità di connessione quindi non è certo 1 Gbps del FTTH e neanche i 100 Mbps spesso pubblicizzati per FTTC, di media siamo sui 20-21 Mbps in downoload e 6,5-7,5 Mbps in upload, con un ping di 12-15, comunque considerata la lunghezza di tratta dal cabinet è abbastanza nella media.Dopo aver realizzato il collegamento “volante” rapidamente e con buoni risultati come mimetizzazione, ho testato la velocità con noto speed test e i valori sono uguali a quelli ottenuti con modem router connesso a pc con un altro ottimo cavo di rete Cat 7 (marca Ibra) lungo 2 mt.Lo utilizzo da circa quattro mesi, per 10 ore al giorno (escluso festivi), connessione sempre veloce e stabile, nessuna interferenza; mentre prima col router in wi-fi la velocità era inferiore e soprattutto la stabilità, con l’hot spot da smartphone la velocità era a volte superiore, ma variabile e la stabilità era un problema notevole.Il cavo Veetop è costruito molto bene con ottimi materiali, conduttori in rame di qualità, ogni conduttore è costituito da trefoli come ormai molti cavi simili (non conduttore singolo, credo per minimizzare l’effetto pelle anche se le sezioni sono molto piccole o forse solo per avere maggiore flessibilità), schermatura con foglio di alluminio, connettori placcati in oro che consentono un innesto efficace e stabile.La larghezza di banda viene dichiarata fino a 750 con velocità fino a 10 Gbps.Il cavo ha una garanzia di 2 anni ed è fornito assieme a 15 chiodini con cavallotto in plastica per eventuali fissaggi a muro o battiscopa.Pro:- costruzione accurata, materiali selezionati, connettori placcati in oro;- ottime prestazioni di stabilità e velocità, nessuna interferenza;- flessibile e molto sottile, consente di passare dove con un classico cavo a sezione tonda sarebbeimpossibile;- rapporto qualità/prezzo molto buono;- garanzia 2 anni.Contro:- nessuno.
