I bought this as a gift for my husband. It is very easy to use, even without reading the instruction manual. It has an on/off button and the recording function is a switch. If you flick the switch while the recorder is off (not powered down, just the screen off) it will turn on and start recording immediately. It is easy to cycle between recordings on the device as well. The speakers work great and the microphone picks up sound well and with great quality. We're very happy with this recorder!

We all have phones and we can use the voice recorder on it. BUT having a separate recorder is more ideal. This recorder is incredibly easy to use. I've been using it to record professors lecturing in class and the sound quality is incredibly good. It picked up every person in the classroom who spoke except a couple who pretty much whispered. It works well to record and play back later to hear things that you missed. I didn't realize I would love this recorder so much!

i used it for work. insturction is more to be desired. after planing with it for a while you can figure it out. one thing you have to make sure to adjust is auto shut off. defult setting is too long. you will run out of batter really fast. i have this charing all the time. in the office and in the car. really small too. sound quility is OK. put it high and it doesnt sound good. was looking for a case or belt clip but no where to be found. got two so i use one for work and other for personal.
