Good quality from a reputable manufacturer and with a lifetime guarantee
This tyre valve repair tool is very well made. It is reasonably priced and if you register it with Silverline you get a lifetime guarantee. As a DIY tool it will probably not be used very often by me but it performs the job very well and its nice to know if any problem does ever occur its back to Silverline.

Well made product
Got this to keep with my wheelchair repoair kit along with tyrepump, and patches. Does it's job for checking valves.

Great item, but do you have space to use it?
Did just what I wanted it for and much sturdier than the flimsy plastic cap on the bottle of Goop, however my bike wheels have spokes, and it was fine on the larger rear wheel, but the gap between the spokes on the front wheel are closer together and the cross piece on this valve tool was a fraction too wide and kept catching, so it needed a bit of tilting about to turn the valve inner with this obstruction.

A generic tool that works perfectly
Cheap and cheerful, most folks never need one but if and when you do they are indispensable. The finish on mine was a bit untidy and needed a couple of minutes with a small file but a folded piece of sandpaper would have done the trick. At this price, I wasnโt expecting perfection

Schraeder Valve Tool
This is a great little tool if you just want something easy to tighten/undo the valve insert. I'm sure it does the other things it's designed to, but I only need it for that one use really, and at ยฃ1.30-something with free postage, you can't go wrong. I've bought a couple of other Silverline things, and haven't really been all that impressed, and the reveiws they get are often really poor. But for a solid little tool, I couldn't see where it could go wrong, and it doesn't! I bought mine to tighten the insert on my motorbike tyre - I can see how on a pedal-bike the piece crossing through the tool might get in the way of the spokes (and it's fixed in place - doesn't slide out), but my motorbike spokes are spaced apart enough for that not to be an issue, and to be honest if it's a problem, I would just get a hacksaw and cut that bar off the tool! That, or buy a different one - there are loads to choose.
