great battery, though maybe lightly out of spec
[Update: nearly three years of regular use, and the switch gave out, stuck on. The battery is strong. I had to remove it to stop the motor. But that’s a good run. I’m here to buy another.] Buy it. Read on to see how I fixed the one issue we had. I had picked this out for my girlfriend, but she was skeptical and wouldn't buy it. She kept complaining about her nearly dead Dyson, so I bought for her. She couldn't be happier about her Dyson now. She says it still doesn't last long on Max, but it's ok because she can go for two weeks without charging instead of daily. That said, we did have an issue with the alignment on our wall mounted charger, but it was fixable. Sometimes it would work fine, others it wouldn't charge, or dock, sometimes it got stuck. It's possible this battery was made to different specs or tolerance. Or maybe the hairline fractures I noticed on our vaccuum allow a little movement. For the price I don't care. I used a little diy engineering (basically a tourniqet) to secure the battery in the right spot and we haven't had any issues. If the misalignment was caused by a crack in the vacuum, a Dyson replacememt would have had the same problem.

Garbage, DO NOT BUY!!
I ended up purchasing 2 of these batteries and neither of them lasted even 2 months. The first one stopped charging a few days after the return period ended (30-ish days) I ended up buying a 2nd in order to send the 1st back as I didn't hear back from the seller on the matter. The 2nd one lasted a whopping 2 weeks, and it failed in a odd way. The way the Dyson V7 turns on is the trigger pushes down a plastic rod and that presses in on another rod that's in the battery casing itself (You can see it on the top of the battery shaft when you remove it from your vacuum) So the actual "Switch" is in the battery itself. In case you ever try to test the battery outside of the vacuum and aren't getting a reading on a multimeter, it's because the contacts on the battery itself don't supply any power until the switch is pressed. Well my 2nd battery was put on the charger and it suddenly started running. I thought the trigger might have gotten stuck, but after a few whacks with a rubber mallet it seemed that wasn't the issue. So I grabbed my small screwdriver and quickly removed the 3 screws holding the battery in and yanked it out of the vacuum. I could immediately tell that something inside the battery had failed as it smelled horrible and was quite hot to the touch. I left it outside in my driveway on the concrete in case the batteries ended up catching fire. I messaged the seller yet again and explained all of this and they still haven't replied a year later. So don't waste your time or $ on this particular brand, find one that will actually respond to messages and sell a product that will last a lot longer than just the 30 day return period window.

Edited Review
I originally gave this product a bad review because after 5 months our Dyson started pulsating like it had been before we bought this battery. After ordering a battery from Dyson it did the same thing. After troubleshooting we found out that our Dyson was clogged. We changed the filter when we replace the battery 5 months ago. I will say this loud for those in the back (my husband) DO NOT USE THE DYSON AS A SHOP VAC! Last fall My husband used the Dyson in the garage to vacuum saw dust…even though I pointed out the Dyson is not a shop vac! Then our Dyson started pulsating so he thought it was the battery. He changed it with this battery and the filter that came with the battery. Well, once again he vacuumed up sawdust and we had vacuum problems so we ordered a battery from Dyson. It turned out that the new filter was clogged from sawdust! I will be returning the Dyson battery and taking the $100 we spent on the Dyson battery and putting it towards a shop vac for that man! 🙄 🤣🤣 This battery is doing a good job and stays charged longer than the original dyson battery…as long as you don’t vacuum up sawdust! 🤦♀️

Seams to works great, just not the exact fit.
This battery fits right into my Dyson A7. The only problem was that it does not plug into the wall charger real well. You have to make sure it is charging when it's plugged in. It seems to have a longer run time than the original battery when it does gets charged.

Higher Power
My Dyson V7's that Ive had for over 5 yrs stopped charging and wouldn't run. It would also have a red light that would blink over 12 times. I looked into and found out I needed to replace my Battery. To order an Original was about $100. I found this one and it is higher Voltage then the original and better price. I've had no issues with it and it works great. It was easy to replace by unscrewing the old one with a screwdriver and replacing it with the new one. It also came with extra filters. You can def. tell it has more power. In the video when I first use it, it's on low. Next I switched over to Max. Definitely hoping I get as many years out of this one as I did the Original. If you need a replacement don't hesitate and buy it.

ABSOLUTE GARBAGE! Not 6.0Ah and Not the same as OEM
The so-called Dyson Replacement 6.0Ah Battery is easy to install, but only works for about 5 minutes and then dies... if you wait a few minutes it will work again for another minute. In the meantime, my 4 year old original battery had more power and ran longer. Waste of money! It was also tested on a Multimeter and is not even close to 6amp. These cheap battery replacements use low quality cells and lie on performance. I give up and will have to fork over $$ for the OEM. EDIT: DO NOT BUY!! NO WARRANTY EXISTS! Funny because the generic Chinese label says the word "Warranty" and that's it. Contacted BONADGET and they did respond telling me they would Refund 60% of my price paid now that my Battery dies after a full charge instantly. So kudos for Customer Support, but I still lost money and time. No Stars for the Product and 1 Star for the Seller
