Scholl Instant Hard Skin Remover

Great, easy to use, you can take off as much as you want without getting through to the skin that's supposed to be on your foot. This product is grate (yes, I really intended that pun) to use and does it's job extremely well, it's easy to use on your own feet or your other half's, perhaps even a good friend, a tired looking policeman, a fell runner even (don't do this at home or outdoors unless all parties are consenting adults). Oh and the feeling of satisfaction at taking off that uncomfortable layer of skin that's got no business being there is really mind blowing. I may not have been entirely serious in this review but I do like this product and would recommend it every time someone asked me if I knew of a product that could quickly and safely remove a pad of dead skin that had been irritating them and leave their feet soft and slightly flushed with satisfaction. Quality, chuck that useless yellowy pumice stone back on the ground from whence it came, put the cheese grater back in the kitchen, this baby is designed to grate feet great.

I have tried lots of different methods of removing some stubborn pads of hard skin on the balls of my feet. This is by far the best tool I have come across so far. My feet are already 10 times better than before I started using this tool and with regular use I'm sure will almost totally rid me of the hard skin pads altogether without having to resort to more expensive solutions. You do need to use a good foot cream after using though.

Amazing product. My heels had got very dry due to all the walking in wellies I have been doing with my dog. Had been using ccs swedish formula heel balm which worked great at healing the cracks and dryness but was still left with hard skin. Tried foot files, pumice stone etc and it didn't make much difference. Bought this, had a bath so my feet were soft, began using it and all I can say is wow the amount of stuff this took off was crazy. My feet are now super smooth and will use this now once or twice weekly to maintain. To clean the little holes in it I used a cocktail stick to get rid of the skin and used alcohol spray to clean it. My mum is now lookin one too.

I've tried lots of different products to remove hard skin, but this is by far the worse. I followed the instructions, but it left my heels very rough. There are a lot better, cheaper products on the market.

I bought this based on all the glowing reviews as in the past few months the skin on my heels has become hard, cracked and yellow - hmm - tasty! This is probably from wearing flip flops all the time and doing lots of cycling. Anyway the reviews give the general gist that this is a miracle product. In my opinion it really isn't much cop. It is basically a foot "grater". This is much more effective and cost me, you guessed it, a POUND! It also has the added benefit of collecting all the skin shavings that has the added bonus of using as "Parmesan" for people you don't like! Probably smells the same anyway. For tough hard skin you need a WMA Callus Cuticle Remover Cutter Foot Rasp File + 20 Blade These can be bought on the Bay for under £2 and also a foot file The Edge Pedipad'l Foot File - Sally's beauty do them for under £3 and probably less on the Bay and £ shops. After you have blitzed your feet then make sure you moisturise them. Again, I use a £ shop hand and nail cream that is pretty good but something like E45 would do just the same job. In summary I find this product a bit of a waste of money. If you do some canny shopping you can get a corn/ callus cutter with Merkur blades, a foot file, a Ped Egg clone and moisturiser for less than this one overrated product. 2 stars because it is better than a pumice stone alone and it is more ergonomic but that's about it. I am THRILLED with this foot file. Always hated my calloused feet and wouldn't wear sandals - urgh. Tried many files in the past, but I never quite got a foot-hold (pun, intended LOL!) on the problem. Usually files just deal with superficial dry skin for people who don't have that big a problem. My callouses were more challenging than that ;) I didn't find a lot of instructions with my file, so tips I'd like to put out there for others is to:- 1. Soak your feet in warm/hot water for at least 20 minutes. 2. Use the file on your softened skin with it still damp. 3. Calloused skin comes off in strips! 4. I follow up with Scholl Hard Skin Remover cream (another excellent product) for all over my feet 5. Rub in a generous amount of heavy-duty foot cream and pop on some cotton socks. Let it soak in all night. You'll be walking on air! Would totally recommend this file to others.

I suffer from extreme dry dead skin on the heels of my feet and periodically cut it off with scissors. I found this device useless when used on dry skin however when used in the shower or directly afterwards, the dead skin came off easily with minimal effort. Complete life changing tool for me. My heels are still dry and require maintenance however no more cutting off dead skin.

This is going to sound so gross, but it is so satisfying to just be able to remove all the dead skin so easily and quickly. I usually soak my feet first before using just to make it a little bit easier. This works great I even bought one to keep in my travel bag so I can have it on the go as well!

This does exactly what it says. Great tool.
