We decided on Evohome based on various review sites but these were either stuffed with fake reviews or the product review came from areas where Honeywell product support is available (hours on hold trying to get through but alas no Honeywell support call was ever answered) or from areas where am engineer network is available. We had several people on the Honeywell website tell us they had stopped installing it. We were left with zero help. I managed to get the controller working via a zone valve (which Honeywell advise not installing) but it doesn't connect to the HomeHub. As it happens I work in a trade counter and know several highly experienced plumbing and heating engineers (not Honeywell installers but competent) they all decided it was incomprehensible. Oh for hindsight. Regrettably and at considerable expense I've decided that every Evohome product in our house will go on eBay and I'll look for alternatives provided by a company with an interest in helping customers not just leaving them hanging out to dry. This item does not come with the external antenna, if you need a system that uses this then steer well clear of this product as you will have a nightmare trying to find it. Personally I will never purchase a Honeywell product ever again and I would recommend anyone looking for a system to control their heating to look elsewhere. There are better, cheaper and systems that work more efficiently with better customer care and knowledge.
