Technoseal Professional Damp Proof Waterproofing Paint 5L White For Walls & Floors

I used this on a concrete floor in my living room. It is very nice to use; I started with a roller but felt it was not going on thick enough so switched to a 10" brush and it went down great. I applied two coats and thought that this was enough. I had the underlay for the carpet laid on top of this when it was thoroughly dry. Although I don't think it is intended for use like this, that is I think it should be laid under a screed, it worked well. Only one glitch which was my fault; the previous carpet had been glued down and although I worked hard to remove all traces of this there was one small area where I obviously failed and the paint did not stick too well, I may live to regret this or I might strike lucky and have no problems.

Ingress of damp, puddles of water would come into garage floor due to neighbours tarmac being higher than garage damp proof membrane. On advice from a damp proof experpert he recommended techno seal. Painted sealer 2 bricks up from floor and approx 2 bricks width on floor. Superb job. 100% effective. Applied with a roller, 2 coats were sufficient. Highly recommend technoseal, brilliant job

had a very damp garage, after I repaired the walls, I painted the plasterboards with this, seem's to work, no mold now.

This is just great for using on damp walls, especially in old houses like mine. It cover’s easily and certainly keeps the damp at bay for many years in my experience

Hard going on tends to dry so quickly so goes on thicker than I'd have like , painted over top but that took more coats than usual

The product goes on easily, I used 2 coats as I had a particularly problematic area, but it has dried on and stopped the damp coming through. Suitable to paint over.

This was used as prep for floor screed in a bathroom renovation . Application was easy and certainly cleaner that some alternatives. The quick drying time meant that two coats didn't hold up the associated works unduly. Can't comment on longer term effectiveness but the signs are promising.
