Grips onto rail as expected! We had been setting the monitor on her side table with a horrible view for months. I wish I would’ve bought this sooner!!

I wanted a ¼ tripod mount for the Eufy baby monitor and there weren't a lot on Amazon to choose from. I like the idea of a true tripod mount because I have a few table tripods and it makes it easier to position the baby monitor. In my current room, or when I am traveling, it's a little hard to find a position for the camera. The tripod that it comes with is fairly decent as it is and solves that problem. I wanted the option to use my own tripod if I wanted to! A reason for wanting to use my own tripod is if the tripod attachment can't attach to a Pack N' Play. I can use one of my other tripods, or a table tripod, to get more height to be able to position the camera on a steeper angle.

Bought this so we could take our monitor in the go with up. It worked out great, it can be set on a dresser or wrapped around something.

Such a handy tool! I was so upset when our monitor didn’t come with an attachment like this! It has made our lives so easy with traveling! It is like a claw and hangs on to anything once pushed down! Even my baby that kicks and squirms does not knock down the monitor with this attachment!

The camera is great and easy to hook up to the tripod. I have it hung over a closet door and wish the legs were a little firmer so they would hold their shape better. But overall works well
