Hi there, is this umbrella big enough to use for a couple?

I use them for weddings....be ok for a couple wearing normal clothes....i use one for the bride alone so it covers her dress as well.

Hello. No you only get one umbrella, the '3' is merely the name of the umbrella.Kind regards,Callie

is it good for rain and how many can get under

Yes good for rain, large umbrella 2 under comfortably

Is this also a UV umbrella?

Hi - All umbrellas will offer some protection from the sun. This umbrella has not been treated in anyway to offer a greater level of UV protection. Generally, if looking for umbrella with protection UV will be included in the product's description. I hope this information helps. Sheila
