The Revolution toaster is an upgrade over my existing toaster in every way. Looks better, cooks faster and gives you more control over exactly how you want your bread/bagel/waffle etc toasted. You might think a touchscreen on a toaster is a gimmick, but it's actually very useful. It shows pictures of how toasted your item will be, so you know what you're getting. It takes the guesswork out of it so you don't have to waste bread learning where your favorite setting is. It also works amazingly fast. Almost too fast...turn around and you'll miss the countdown and finish chimes. My 1 year old LOVES watching this toaster. Too bad it's so fast, it would be nice to occupy his attention for a little longer... Aside from how fun it is to use and how intuitive the controls are, the results are great. Toasted, crispy bread that's still soft and chewy on the outside. Bagels have just the right amount of crunch on top and chewiness inside. Most impressive might be how well it toasted glutel free bread from frozen. That's a difficult thing to get right. I was shocked at how well the gluten free bread was toasted. Overall, I never thought I would have such a great experience with a toaster. Love this thing.

The Revolution toaster is awesome! It looks great and is really fun and easy to use. I’ve enjoyed buying lots of different types of bread and trying the different settings. They really did their research, each setting is perfect. My favorite is the cinnamon raisin bread. It toasts for half the time, then browns for half the time, so it’s nice and crispy, but still soft and chewy on the inside. I also love the warmer setting. Simply set a croissant or treat that won’t fit inside the toaster on top and it warms it right up! The other nice setting is the reheat function … if you leave your toast on the counter and forget it, just reheat it later and it’s perfect! It also cooks from frozen, which is so nice for those breads like Ezekiel Bread that mold quickly. Pop it in the freezer and the Revolution will toast it to perfection!

I bought this toaster in 2023. After using it for over a year I can say that it is no better than any other toaster. It has all the drawbacks of less expensive toasters, such as burning the product. Do not waste your money on this toaster. It is not worth the price

I bought this as a gift and I was so impressed that I bought another one for myself a couple of years later. This toaster is so much more than a toaster and lets you customize for specific tastes. The quality is fantastic and it looks so nice. Quality is huge with me and I’m so happy with these products.

Update Dececember 2025 The toaster works pretty damn good. It does have problems. Every once in a while it will lock up, and the only option is to unplug it and wait for a minute or two and plug it back in, and it usually works. The other thing that’s almost laughable. Is that a $400 toaster can not Keep track of time properly. Original This thing is expensive, no doubt. And I have no idea what made me spend this much on a toaster. I guess I was thinking about all the $50 toasters I've purchased and thrown out, and thought maybe this is the solution..Maybe this will be the toaster to end all other toasters! It is so far! It works great, is consistent and easy to use. we've had it for almost a year and are very glad we purchased it. if you have a little extra money to spend on a toaster, this one is worth a look.

This has to be the best toaster ever made. If you toast a variety of bread types, knowing that you can always get it perfect actually makes you look forward to toasting everything you can find. Customer service for this company is also the best I've dealt with in 30 years, meaning they know what customer service is supposed to look like!

We love it. The settings are super intuitive and it toasts very consistently. Everyone in the house has developed their favorite settings for different bread. The warmer attachment is pretty nifty, but we don’t use it a lot. Our 8 year old has also mastered the art of toasting.

First off this toaster is beautiful. There’s no doubt about that. Very beautiful but a piece of junk. I bought my first Revolution Insta-glo 270 and it broke in two months. I was so taken with the looks of the Insta glow, I foolishly bought another one. Lo and behold this one broke in one month! For a price tag of almost $500 I would expect better quality. The second toaster I bought the warranty, so I should be good. BUT we shall see. The second toaster tripped all my breakers and knocked out my power in the Kitchen. Luckily, I have a handy husband. I wasn’t going to write a review but my husband insisted that I do. I don’t know if you have $500 to throw away but I threw it away twice. I will not be buying a third Insta glow toaster, no matter how beautiful! Luckily, I kept my trusty Cuisnart, Just in case. (You could see the photo of my beautiful Cuisinart in the background..) At this point, my concept of beauty has changed and now I will go for something that will work more than one or two months. Lol! beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If you have money to throw away, than by all means, do buy this toaster. . If you’re looking for quality however, I would say get a Cuisnart, a Breville .. anything other than this nice looking piece of junk.. There should be a recall on all these toasters.
