Basic Sand (Yellow) - terrarium substrate for desert terrariums - 5kg Bag

Brilliant clean and dry sand, I used it to fill a one section wing chun sand bad. Perfect 👌

I have bought this sand several times now for substrate mixes. As long as its available I will continue to use it, it is ideal and as it says - basic, but what more do you want from sand? The pack size is ideal for me as I don't have a bulky bag laying around for when i next need it and have not found any other sand at this reasonable price.

Works well for my hamster's sand bath. The first bag I got the sand wasn't as clean and pure as other brands, but was still usable. The quality of the sand has been better in subsequent bags. My hamster loves to dig and poop in the sand, or just lie on it to keep cool. Far better than many sands that are marketed for hamsters, which can be too dusty or contain artificial dyes or have calcium added - all of which aren't good for hamsters.

Ich habe den Sand für mein Wüstenterrarium gekauft und bin wirklich positiv überrascht. Die Körnung ist angenehm fein, aber nicht staubig, sodass sich der Sand gut verteilen lässt und das Terrarium direkt natürlicher wirkt. Meine Tiere bewegen sich gerne darauf und graben auch ein bisschen, was für mich ein gutes Zeichen ist. Die Farbe ist schön warm und passt perfekt zu einer Wüstenlandschaft. Außerdem lässt sich der Sand bei Bedarf gut reinigen, ohne dass man gleich alles austauschen muss. Auch die Menge ist für den Preis absolut in Ordnung. Insgesamt ein solides Produkt, das seinen Zweck erfüllt – ich würde es definitiv wieder kaufen.
