Brilliant bit of kit, I’m a gardener and it gets slung in my toolbox, stands out in rain, and generally ill-treated. Only use a small battery on it but usually lasts the week ( I’m only part time). Had a digital radio before this one but usually had to use it on FM as digital signal seems to be very hit and miss which is a pain when you’re moving around to different sites. **Q: Does this only run off the one+ batteries, or can it be plugged into uk power? (and if yes, does it act as a charger for batteries as well?)** A: Battery only but I have lawnmower, strimmer and leaf vac and my husband and son have a number of one plus tools so we have several batteries and a multi charger. Can pick up way more channels than my old roberts FM radio with the Ryobis tiny antenna.I’ve seen reviews slating the tuner but it’s so dependent on the signal in your area! You can’t blame the radio for this. If you know the signal is poor go for the Bluetooth only model and save the tenner.*Connectivity:*AM/FM/Bluetooth/AUX.Internet radio can be had via Bluetooth / aux.
