Will they hold under the pressure once the water is back on and running??

Definately! I was greatly impressed how they work. I was doing a shower room refit and these little wonders were dripfree on mains cold and mprmal hot feed for over 3 months. They real do work - just make sure your pipes are smooth and clean (no paint residue etc).

Can I use this on a 15mm water inlet on a campervan as a dust cap? I’ll need to remove it regularly. The inlet is like a hose tap fitting but smaller

When l bought mine l intended to use it as a end stop on a 15mm water pipe on a static caravan and although my pipe was copper and it works perfectly well l can't say if it would work in your situation they do work on 15mm plastic all l can say is try it and see they are cheap enough to buy even if you only buy one the only way to find out is to buy and try good luck with that
