These journals are great. I've lost count of how many I've gone through over the years- I will always come back to repurchase these when I complete a notebook. They're well-constructed, with some really thoughtful details. There's two ribbon bookmarks, which I find to be so much nicer than the standard 1 that comes with most notebooks. The pen sleeve elastic on the spine has absolutely spoiled me, to the point where I'm disappointed when I pick up a notebook without one. I love the inside pockets, too! There's a pocket on the inside of the back cover that can hold index cards and a sleeve on the inside of the front for any important small papers you might need to tuck in. The notebook also comes with a set of divider tab stickers. I've never used them much, but they're a nice touch! The pages are good quality, holding up to every type of pen I've ever tried on it. Lately I've been getting into fountain pens and the pages can handle even that without smearing or bleeding through. The binding is high-quality too, I've never had any issues with it getting damaged or coming apart, which has happened to me with other notebook brands. These are some of the best notebooks for the price on the market, I personally think they're better than moleskine.

These are great pocket notebooks. The paper quality is thick and smooth. Pages (156 plus contents pages) lay relatively flat in comparison to other small composition books. It takes ink very well and bleed through is nonexistent with rollerball pens or fine line markers. Ribbon bookmarks are great, but do fray somewhat with time in the pocket. Elastic closure band is tight and stays that way. Interior pockets in front and back are good for keeping a couple of business cards or receipts, but they do add bulk quickly. Included sticky tab labels are a nice addition but are a bit wide for sliding into the pocket. If kept in a bag or purse, they are a nice addition. The pen loop is firm and pairs beautifully with a Zebra F-301 Compact. This is a great pocket companion for journaling or quick notes.

Bought these to use for D&D spell books. Players can copy descriptions of their spells, items, and abilities into it as a quick reference without having to share a Players Handbook around the table. For that purpose, they're perfect. Each one comes in a pleasant feeling leather-like cover. There's a rather solid front and back, stitched to a more flexible spine covering, which allows it to lay flatter than most leather-like notebooks. There is a small paper pocket on the inside of the front cover, and a small expanding pocket on the inside of the back. A pack of small stick-on binder tabs comes included. The first three pages are a fillable table of contents, giving you 45 lines to note a page number and what is on it. The notebook itself has 156 numbered pages after that. The paper is not thick, so I would not recommend using a Sharpie, but is fine for pencils and normal pens. It's got that slightly aged color to it that's easy on the eyes. Lines are grey and dotted, easy to see but without dominating the paper. This one is a "pocket notebook," slightly short and wider than my phone (a Pixel XL something.) While it could technically fit in some pockets, I wouldn't try to sit down with it in one. Cargo pants, a purse, or something along those lines would be fine. It also isn't very handy for lengthy notes, so I wouldn't suggest it for school lectures or meeting notes. But for having a place to write things down at a crowded table, or to make a collection of recipes, reference notes, or cheat sheets that you want to use in tight spaces, this little guy is perfect. I've bought the green, black, cyan, and blue ones. Inside, they're all the same. All of the colors look nice, but the green is easily my favorite. Hopefully they expand to additional options in the future.

UPDATE : Issue was resolved, added a star for how fast and easy it was handled. Shipment was fast, quality is great and pages do not bleed through. Perfect size for an inside jacket pocket or even to keep in your pant pocket. However, first day using it and already is coming off at the seams. This would be fine if I wasn’t planning to keep this on my person every day for organization and thought process. Will update based on how it gets handled. Based on the reviews I think I just got a defective journal, still would recommend. Feels awesome.
