This is a great kit for cleaning leather sofas and chairs. I have been using it for 20 years + the same brand polish and it has kept the leather in gleaming, flexible condition with no cracks appearing. A great investment for expensive furniture!

Pros - Great cleaner - Fantastic cream - restored some leather that hadn't been polished for several years and had dried up. - The cream made it look like new. - Easy to use - no unpleasant smells Cons - I used about a third of the cleaner 8 months ago and screwed the lid on the bottle. When I came to use it this week it had all evaporated. Need a better seal on the bottle.

Cleans well on first application. Will update in a few weeks to ensure its done its job.

Decided to try this cleaner for for mat red leather sofas after reading reviews, bit wary of making the leather shine & spoiling the finish but pleased to say what a good product. Had these Sofas for 2 years & on advice from supplier to wipe only with damp cloth were now looking in need of some better cleaning, pleased to say this cleaning kit has really worked. Very pleased with result, cleaned up marks well & didn't spoil the finish. Definitely recommend this product & does say suitable for all types of leather, easy to use & great result.

have had the wipes from stainguard before and you could see the difference but not with this.

This is a perfectly decent cleaning kit for leather sofas and the like. I used it to clean and treat some leather furniture that we bought from DFS, and it certainly improved the leather. However, once clean, I applied Renapur Leather Balsam, and that really rocks! (If you want to really treat the leather, then get the Renapur balsam. If you need to clean the sofa, then the Leather Care Kit is perfectly decent). A couple of things that I don't like about the product. The supplied cloth and sponge are both very hard (coarse, almost), so I tended to be quite tentative using them on the furniture. Also, the sponge is not that absorbent, so when you try to add the cleaning liquid to it in sufficient quantity to make the cleaning foam, it does tend to run off! It is definitely a step up from the cleaning kit provided with the furniture, though, which with the best will in the world isn't quite up to the job.
