I absolutely love scissors or any form of cutting tools that are "Made In Japan" as I believe the Japanese to make the very bestThese thread snips absolutely live up to the "Made in Japan" qualityI am only just getting into my new Brother sewing machine and needed a good set of thread snips. I was using a large pair of good quality scissors for the task but they are a bit awkward to use just for snipping thread so I searched for Made in Japan thread snips and these ones came upI have also purchased the Clover thread snips, which are a tiny bit cheaper, and they are good but not anywhere near the quality of these little snips and certainly not as sharpThese are very sharp and work perfectly for the task of snipping thread but I'm sure they will also be very good for trimming seams etcI would 100% recommend these Japanese snips They are a little bit more expensive than similar snips but you are paying for a quality item that is Made in Japan. You cannot go wrong with these

About as useful as a bucket of steam.Sharp. But a 0.5mm splay across the blades. The tip meet but the rest is like John wains legs.No chance of a clean cut

糸が切れるか切れないかといえば、かろうじて切れる、という感じです。全く切れないわけではありません。ただ、刃と刃のかみ合わせが極めて悪く、また握った後の戻りも鈍いです。以前つかっていた美鈴のにぎりばさみ（貰い物）があまりにも良かったので、一番形と色が似ているものを選んで購入したのですが、ものとしては雲泥の差でした。値段に釣られた私が良くなかったのでしょう。この値段だから仕方ない、と納得せざるを得ないですが、この値段＆この質の商品層を充実させるくらいなら、きちんとした質の少々値のはるラインナップを充実させた方が良いのではないでしょうか。

切れ味の悪さは値段的にこの程度なのかと思います。大事に長く使用するなら買わない方が良いと思います。
