Elixirs have a slightly more 'silky' feel that may take a few plays to get used too. They hold tunings well , even when tuning is changed often. I have very corrosive , sweaty hands , that just kill normal and even stainless strings. These baby's last me months , as opposed to weeks and just keep sounding great.
