Small Bonsai Tree Pruning Kit

I like the shears. I use them for embroidery. Theyre fine enough to get under individual stitches, they cut threads well and have a nice oriental stamp on one of the blades.

As a first time Bonsai tree owner,the cost of these two products was just right in case I made caring errors.They are very effective and cut cleanly.

Both look crudely made and blades don't meet snugly on either scissors or shears, but they seemed to work ok for my starter tree. Not so good, however, for larger one and scissor blade bent out of line when trying to clip thicker branch, so now don't close and are unusable. Can't grip sheers well enough to cut that branch either! Not very strong so wouldn't recommend for larger or thicker trees (my smaller trees is barely 10cm high).The items were delivered on time though. So in conclusion, good for small trees and very thin branches but not good for larger more established branches!UPDATE - so both blades on both the scissors and sheers do not cut larger branches (about 2mm thickness), so have changed my review to 'poor' as now discovered these are not fit for purpose (after using scissors once and sheers twice, they now don't work and a normal pair of household scissors has done a better job! ) I do not recommend anymore.

Both of the items in this order are very sharp and will perform the desired task of trimming and pruning my bonsai trees. Products well bundled together on arrival. the items are of high quality and are suitably oiled.The only issue is they are smaller than I imagined and the wire pruners are not very well painted. Only minor issues that do not ruin the quality of the product.Overall, very impressed with the product and the delivery. A recommended buy.
