Awesome mic - affordable, great value for money, and unintrusive!
I'm a content creator, who also livestreams regularly. Having a good mic is super important, therefore, and I tend to go through them fairly quickly. Up until now, I've never found a mic that doesn't bother me in some way, shape or form. Either the filter fails, the pickup glitches or something else inevitably goes wrong. Not with the this mic! I love it. First of all, let's talk price. There's nothing worse than spending a heck of a lot of money on something that breaks almost instantly. Spending hundreds of pounds on a mic that is so flimsy it might as well be made from paper is... infuriating simply doesn't cover it. So how is this relevant? Well, this FiFINE is on the cheaper end of the mic spectrum. Yes, £50 is not a small figure, but compared to the likes of HyperX, it is. And yet, it has the quality of a WAY more expensive mic. Not only is it sturdy in build - with a solid frame and using high quality materials - but it also comes with in-built shock absorption! As someone who is fairly clumsy, and has a penchant for bumping into my desk, this has been a life saver! The mic itself is finished nicely - there are no burrs in the plastic - and could easily pass for far more expensive than it actually is. My only slight gripe is that the pop filter is a tad flimsy. I did have to bend one of the prongs slightly to get it to slot into the mic, but that wasn't a problem, and may have just been a small fault in my unit. That being said, the filter does work well. It's effective at blocking harsher sounds, particularly plosives, and doesn't interfere with the rest of the audio being captured. The sound quality itself is crisp, and extraordinarily clear, especially when considering the cost. Of course, other mics on the market will surpass it in terms of sound quality, but that will be reflected in their price tags. Unless you are using professional mics regularly, though, you are unlikely to notice any difference. Joe Bloggs wouldn't be able to tell at all. So, if you're a casual gamer, a beginner podcast-er, someone looking for a better mic for conferences, etc. this mic would be more than perfect for you! For most content creators, even, it'll more than suffice. Also, let's talk ergonomics. I love the tap-to-mute feature. It comes in handy so often when recording; the LED indication is also a great touch. Also the dial at the back is awesome if you're in need of adaptive volume intake. Moreover, I love how you can adjust the angle of the mic, but the only thing it is (arguably) missing is a telescopic stand. If this was a feature, it would be the cherry on the cake. I understand why it hasn't been implemented, though. Finally, the RGB. YOU CAN TURN IT OFF! If ever you want to, although I don't know why you would, it's possible to turn off the funky RGB and make the mic plain old black. Maybe for a business meeting? 'Well, isn't that obvious?' I can practically hear the eye rolls. The answer is no! Surprisingly, with a lot of mics, you are simply unable to turn the RGB off. Unless, of course, your PC is off or you physically unplug it. But, should you want it, you also have options when it comes to the RGB! You can cycle through the various settings with a touch-sensitive button situated at the back of the mic - it's so easy to do, and there is literally a setting for everyone! Lastly, the mic itself is sleek. It's not an eyesore. It's not bulky. In fact, it is one of the most elegant mics on the market (in my opinion). It fits seamlessly into my setup, and I really couldn't be more pleased with it. So, if you want an affordable, high quality bit of kit, please don't faff around with tons of cheap mics. Take it from me - it is unlikely that you will find one that is any good. Instead, consider paying a few extra pounds for something that will last longer than all of the cheaper options put together, and give you amazing sound quality while doing so! Get FiFINE! As always, this review contains only my honest opinion. I am not in any way, shape or form affiliated with FiFINE - I just love their product! FiFINE, keep up the good work! [PICTURED: My setup (we don't talk about the cable management, okay?), featuring my FiFINE mic. Look how seamlessly it blends in! Perfection. Couldn't be happier!]

This microphone is superb
This mic has to be the best I've had. I have the older Fifine mic which I still occasionally use but this is next level. I have been extensively testing with my YouTube channel and there is some stand out features. First of all it sounds excellent and even using without any extras on OBS or stream elements it just sounds silky, clean with a nice rich tone. I was truly impressed by this as many other mics just don't give you that same sound without lots of messing. Another feature I love is the way it looks. The RGB lights are just the right brightness that it's not distracting. They have multiple functions so it fits in with your setup and style. The pop filter is metal and feels high quality. Also no fiddly buttons just simple touch sensitive mute and light control. Setup is super easy as well. It comes with a high quality stand which is weighted and won't fall over. I choose to mount mine on my old microphones boom arm. It is powered by a very simple usb type c cable and simply plugs into the base of the mic and to your chosen computer. It installed it in seconds and it was ready to go. I tried it on my Xbox series X and it worked on that also. Overall I think it gives a better sound than mics twice the price, it looks cool and professional with its craddle. The main thing that stands out is if your new to Twitching, streaming on YouTube or doing talking head videos for social it's just super, super easy to use. I would recommend this mic to anyone great value and massively over delivers in many ways.

Great Sounding Mic and Easy Setup - looks great too.
I was initially disappointed, but due to lack of knowledge (not microphone functionality). I had the microphone on my desk (where my mini PC also sits). I recorded about 45cm away from the mic and could hear significant background noise and my voice sounded hollow. Then I remembered a Youtube review of a similar mic where the reviewer said that the mic works best close up; so I moved it a lot closer and put some cushions in front to the PC to dampen the ambient noise and, it worked perfectly. I'm very happy with the sounds quality, which is crisp clear and puts a decent amount of bass in the voice. This is going to take hours off my current video production process for the YouTube vids I make. I was making the video with my poor headphone mic, editing the video, then going back and doing a voiceover using my phone by listening to the video's original sound and trying to repeat the words at the same speed, and then I would have to add the new audio to the workflow, edit the levels and deal with balance since the phone only records well from the left side, and also cut the sound in the correct places to match the original edit; what a headache. That was a lot of extra work which could take me 5 hours, sometimes more. Currently working on my next video with this mic and the workflow feels miles better. The recording quality is so good that, using it as the input device when I'm recording the video, means that I can just do the editing and cutting of the video as is, without removing or editing the sound, which is already near perfect; no splitting the sound off from the video or having to do extra editing on it. There was practically no setup involved. I just plugged the mic into the USB port, and after about 30 seconds the mic was recognized. Note: in my case, plugging the USB into the port disables the headphone jacks on the mini PC, but I just plugged the headphone jack into the available 3.5mm socket at the base of the microphone and you get the PC sounds. I assume there are ways around this but the sound quality from the headphone socket is also good, so I'll stick with that method for now. TLDR: I'm very happy with the mic, and this it's very good value for money.

Great value for money 👌🏻
The mic is lightweight with a matte texture, which is super comfortable. It comes supported on a detachable shock mount base (super cool, by the way), and it can be easily mounted on a boom arm with the included pivot adapter. One of the main features is the gorgeous RGB lighting effects that add a touch of visual flair to this mic. Controlled with a touch button at the back, and you choose between 3 colour modes: multi-colour gradient (which cycles through colours from top-down gradient motion), solid colour gradient (which changes colours every 3 seconds), and solid colour (where you can select between 9 static colours). The pop filter, with a cute little smiley face, effectively reduces plosive sounds (we often blast air when pronouncing words, and when that air hits the mic, it creates a pop/boom noise). Another great feature is how easily you can mute/unmute! With a touch button on top, you can quickly mute/unmute and identify with the red/green lights, respectively. At the rear, you find a screw where you can adjust the mics angle and the gain knob to control the volume. You find the USC-C output and headphone jack at the mic's base. Compatible with PCs and game consoles, this mic is a breeze with no need for additional drivers - just plug in and record. The sound quality is good; I'm impressed.

Very Bold looking, perfect for gaming setup
i bought this for my son who has limited space on his desk. The whole kit only take a few minutes to put together and it now looks great sitting on his desk top surface. I really like the plug and play connection, the features such as the touch mute button is very handy but i also love the fact that you can listen to your live voice via the 3.5mm connection under the microphone base. You do get a mic gain control dial to control how loud your voice is recorded and even though i thought the little metal mesh filter might not be that great is actually surprised me and the plosive letters when talking close up to the mic was not effected, so nope no voice distortion. The design is very funky, RGB light that can be set to a single colour tone, there is also a live mic LED light to indicate active recording but what was also perfect was that we did receive a scissor stand adaptor mount that can be used on an aftermarket scissor mounted stand. PROS: Bold, bright, good mic pick-up with nice features CONS: There is none, but make sure your desk surface is a solid once as it helps stop any microphone interference when for example, typing on a keyboard etc

Great value
Bought this as a mic for casual Discord calls, no complaints. Really easy to use, no software to needlessly tinker around with, mute button included and sound quality is nice.

This Mic's got GAME!
I was actually surprised by the audio performance of this mic. Bear in mind, the price tag of sub-£50 for the black (at the time of writing) and a few pounds more if you wanted a colour, most of the other mics in this category are north of that, the audio performance is very very good! For me, I’d put this into the budget entry-level microphone category for those looking to upgrade from a USB headset mic, some bluetooth mics, laptop mics, etc, but are on a **strict** budget. I’d say this is targeted at those wanting to level up their audio a notch or you’re just launching into the world of gamers, livestreamers, startup podcasters and voiceover talent or even conf callers. The Ampligame A8 from Fifine delivers a big bang for your Fifine buck! Though I tested this against my Audio Technica AT2020 USB and my Fifine K678 USB for reference, I found the sound reproduction very comparable between the three mics. I played them all back without any audio processing as well. When it comes to the finish, the Ampligame A8 is all plastic and the output of which was mono, however as long as you know this for your downstream settings, you’ll be good shape. The added bonus of the built-in pop filter, on-board latency-free headphone amp, shock mount, capacitive tap-to-mute and RGB light cycle settings makes the A8 difficult to pass up. Obviously if you have a little more to spend, you could select another mic that is encased in metal, like the K678 or the K690. These of course, are at different price points. However, the Ampligame A8 is a great budget-sensitive microphone worth considering!
