They do not float when properly filled.
These chairs are awesome. As other people have also stated, donโt listen to the negative reviews. If you submerge the chair and fill it completely with water, they do NOT float around the pool. They stay put. Theyโre sleek, look good, and theyโre comfortable.

Great Value
These arrived in perfect condition and as described. MAKE SURE to follow the fill instructions! If the feet area still want to float a bit you probably have to deep of water on the Baja Shelf. The end where your feet are floated just an bit and after the water level went down a little bit, they set perfectly fine.

Beyond worth the money - these are amazing.
We love these chairs! We just moved into a new house with pool and it has a Baja ledge and I have been shopping for ledge chairs for months in preparation. There are quite a few options out there (i.e., Ledge Lounger, Frontgate, etc.) but those are SO pricey! I really asked myself if I could justify over a thousand dollars MORE for those brands and I took my chances on the Aqua Lounger's lower priced models. These are AMAZING. Of course, I don't have the other ones so I can't compare them - but for $450 each, you get comfortable, beautiful, sturdy, and quickly arriving chairs that are FUN and just what I wanted! (As opposed to $900 each). And, these are bit longer than Frontgate's (I am tall) and better color choices. We love them! I used them this weekend - true - filling them with water leaves something to be desired but otherwise, they work just as expected.

Work as intended butโฆ
Filled up easily. I filled with a hose and then stood up so all the water filled the bottom. If you donโt do that they will likely float. Only 4 stars as I thought the material of construction was going to be a little more luxurious and is more like the kids playplace plastic. Kind of expensive for that quality but they do work as intended and look nice in my pool.

Resort living!
Just got these and love them! There is no assembly required, we just had to fill them with water, which was very easy. We just put them in today and they seem comfortable. Will report back after using them for a few weeks but they seem very sturdy and not floating away.

DO NOT GET THESE!
$562 to return them!!! They float all over the pool! They are really hard to fill with water and when you do they still floated. If you get them onto the baja step and try to sit on it your head sinks and your legs float up into the air. We tried many different ways to try to get them to work. When nothing seemed to help we decided to send them back. Well you can't drain the water out. So the water is just going to sit in there and grow algae. I'm going to return them but now I see that they are going to make me pay shipping on these things! Who knows how much that is going to cost! Poorly designed and they just don't work as intended!

Perfect pool chairs for sunshelf
These chairs look great and are very comfortable. Before I purchased these, I read quite a few negative reviews saying that these chairs float around. It's clear that many people didn't read the instructions. You have to have enough water inside the chairs to or they will float. That's simple physics. When you get them they are a hollow object which is less dense than water. To make it not float it has to be more dense than the water around it. To do that you let water in the hollow part of the chair. To get mine set up, I put them in the pool upside down so I could see the holes. I put the holes under water to let water in and then raised that end up to get the water to go over the hump and into the bottom of the chair. I repeated this until I had enough water in them. If they are floating, you have to put more water in.
