You have to use the plastic special darts

It automatically counts down depending on what you are playing. 101, 301 etc . It works well, great fun

are the batteries replaceable, if so what size batteries and how many?

3 x AA batteries, for me they've lasted a long time!

It comes with 2 screws and 2 rawplugs. On the the back at 11 o'clock and 2 o'clock are two holes for the screws to fit in . Screw into wall then hang board on to them .
